Comfortable, cheerful house with 3 bedrooms, two sitting rooms, a wood burner and a large garden. 5 min walk to the quay. Great marsh and inland walks and birds to see. Deli in high street and three places to eat in Blakeney. Bicycles available.

The space

The large garden for children to play in is unusual for Blakeney. There are bikes in the garage and out door games.
There is no gate to the drive so toddlers can escape.

Guest access

Babies who have their own cots are free. There is a large bathing bowl for them. There is no bath only a very good shower and 3 toilets.

Interaction with guests

The house is managed by a friend who lives nearby.
So I need at least 2 days notice to prepare the house for visitors. Thank you.

Other things to note

No bath, just a good shower.
The small bedroom has adult size bunk beds.
No phone line or internet. Poor mobile reception. Walk to parking space just opposite the entrance!
It is sometimes possible to get wi-fi in the kitchen from the British Legion at the end of the garden.

Free parking on premises
Indoor fireplace

Great family house in a fantastic location. Nice cozy feel inside with comfy sofas, beds and a good shower. Room for 3 cars. High chair, travel cot, buggy, crabbing gear all there. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

We had a wonderful stay in Blakeney. The house big with two large sitting rooms, one with a woodburner!, and a large kitchen with all the utensils you need for making meals (we cooked every evening). The bedrooms on the top floor are also big (except for the smaller bunkbed room) and all let in lots of light. The house is also warm and not drafty or damp, which is such a lovely thing when you get in from a day of walking! And the garden is big - we played games outside almost every day of our stay (unfortunately it was a bit too cold for eating outside but in the summer it must be lovely). The village is quiet and very pretty and close to the sea (although just beware that Blakeney although next to the sea it is very tidal and you may not see much water but more marsh land). The host Nicolette was very communicative and helpful and the house was very clean and tidy. Would come again!

Yes, I wish the British Legion hall had never been built!

We had a really lovely time at Nicolette's place. I think the house is actually better than pictures, really good sized rooms, pretty, cosy and very comfortable. There is literally everything you need with a big range of cooking utensils and pots and pans. The kids really loved the large garden, which felt very secluded and safe. The village itself is incredibly pretty and there are several places to eat in.
