In the heart of Provincetown's West End, looking out your huge picture window at the oldest house in Provincetown, a private green alley, beautiful gardens, the parade of people walking by . . . You're a short distance from town but away from most of the noise and hubub. And in one of the cutest coziest charming studios with access to the beach right down the walkway on the side of the house. You won't want to leave . . . well most of the time.

The space
Recently renovated. It has all the modern conveniences and appliances. It is about 350 square feet with a fully separate and good size kitchen and bathroom, washer/drier, queen size bed with storage. There's a comfortable couch, table and chairs to enjoy your view, smart tv, internet. Also lots of touches which make it special from great original artwork, playful and interesting items including an oldbarn door, repurposed doors for the closet, old cabinet with a great painting for the tv and more. This is a space that deserves its appelation - charmer. You won't find another one like this.

Where you’ll be

Provincetown, Massachusetts, United States

The West End of Provincetown is the older and more easy going part of town. Very close to town, but also not far from the breakwater at the far west end and a short walk or bike ride to Herring Cove and the bike trails. You'll totally enjoy walking down side streets and alleys to see all the historic houses and little nooks and crannies.

I’ve led quite a life. After Williams College in the Berkshires I got on my white horse after law school @ Georgetown and hoped to solve the world’s problems .... worked in VISTA, the Legal Services, and then the Federal Trade Commission in Seattle, NYC, and Boston. Eventually ended up in Provincetown opening an Italian restaurant called Gallerani’s. Had quite a run there before entering my retired career. I enjoy running my rentals in the same way I enjoyed the restaurant. It’s a pleasure to give people that extra bit of enjoyment on their vacation thru the unique and special places I have created.

During your stay

I am generally around and happy to interact and help, but your space is a separate apt so I leave it up to you. My apt is upstairs but I am often out in Truro (the next town) where my partner has a house.
