"Rufus" is a private downtown Guest Studio located on the ground floor of Gabriel House, in the Downriver Historic District and listed on the National Register. The personally coded keyless entry opens directly into your studio. There is no "sharing" of space. It has a small frige, convection oven/microwave, sink, coffee maker and complimentary wine. Situated very near the river, it's within a short walk of downtown restaurants, shops and music venues. It is a very comfortable and private space.

The space
My husband, Luc, and I live on the upper floor, but we spend much time away from home. We may or may not be on the premises during your stay, but we are available via phone. We also have someone managing our properties when we're away, and you'll be provided their phone numbers. So if any issues arise, help is always available.

Rufus Guest Studio is located near the Natchez Visitor Center and Canal Street which leads downtown, but we are on a low-profile side street. So traffic is not an issue. There are many Victorian homes on the nearby streets, and downtown shops and restaurants are just 2-3 blocks away.
