Staying in Jacob's apartment is an experience, that really adds an x-factor to your Copenhagen holiday. The only disadvantage must be that you are tempted to stay inside all day. Jacob is flexible, has great tips, and has done a remarkable job of decorating the place together with his wife. Truly recommended!

To make it short because words and photos can't really describe the apartment. Its a DREAM. Anyone searching for a special experience should book Jacobs apartment. The light and the atmosphere in the mornings are unbelievable. On the other side of the street you are looking into a nice park and behind it you will find all the nice spots of the city. Thanks so much for having us Jacob ; ) Best regards Patrick from Berlin

Jacob's apartment is amongst one of the best I have ever stayed in. If you are looking for uniqueness, sophistication and elegance Jacob's apartment is the perfect fit. We typically stay in hotels while in Copenhagen, but after staying in Jacob's wonderful apartment we hope to be able to return to this sanctuary. Jacob is also a reliable and caring host.

The apartment is incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated - it's larger than it might seem from the photos and is in an amazing old building with very high ceilings. We were so glad we chose to stay here rather than a hotel. Jacob is a very welcoming host and he kindly let us stay until the evening when our train was due, which was great. The apartment is a short walk from the Torvehallern market which has great food and coffee.

Im not sure how to write this review without appearing like I am one of Jacob's friends (but here goes!). The apartment is EXQUISITE. It is the epitome of Boho-Chic. Large classic rooms, filled with natural light and the serenity of a beautiful park on the other side of the windows. What makes it really special though are the amazing artifacts and works of art that Jacob has brought home from his travels as a luxury hotels photographer. He has a very keen eye and weaves a narrative from room to room and the flow of energy through the apartment is also amazing as so many rooms interconnect. To say this is a good apartment for families is to sell it short. If you are a couple that was once cool (and then had kids) this is the apartment for you. It makes you dream again. In addition to the place itself two other things were remarkable for us. Firstly, the apartment faces a beautiful quiet park with a lake yet the entire city greets you on the other side (a 5 minute walk MAX). Secondly, two blocks away is a remarkable artisanal food market. Butchers, bakers, wine merchants (that are also wine bars), tapas, cheese specialists it just goes on an on. We found ourselves ending up there at least 4 evenings of an 8 night trip (for those who know me, that is out of character behavior as usually we want to visit all the best restaurants). All i know is that as I gaze out on the skyline of downtown New York, all I seem to think about is that beautiful apartment (sexy in so many different ways) and look forward to the day we return there. We will not stay anywhere else in Copenhagen again. Jacob himself is of course part of the package. I will not spoil the surprise but when you meet him, he is larger than life! Jealous of the next person who goes there.... Warmest regards, Sanjay

Beautiful apartment, walkable to most neighborhood, also near excellent bus and metro, nice to have washer/dryer, comfortable bed, spacious, bright but fine for sleeping at night, fast and easy internet. Apartment is a short walk to Old Copenhagen, farmer's market in Copenhagen (Torvehallerne), also the happening Meat packing district is also nearby. Jacob was very quick to respond to us and also provided many tips for Copenhagen. The area is also nice with loads of food options and a grocery nearby. All in all, a wonderful experience.
