Excellent site for couples or families, enjoy access to hiking, swimming, golf, scenic views and access to shopping and other amenities in nearby Leland or Glen Arbor. Watch the planes arrive and depart on the Sugarloaf Airstrip during the summer. Several wineries are also nearby.

The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.
Two golf courses are immediately adjacent to the association property--Sugarloaf the Old Course and Manitou Passage.

The space

We have a small, but well stocked kitchen and are happy to share condiments, oils and basic spices.
We also have pool toys available in storage (noodles, diving rings, inflatables, etc.)

Guest access

The association recently upgraded the Charter Television service to digital and so we added a high speed NetGear wireless router which provides speedy cable internet access.

Interaction with guests

While we don't live on site, we are available via e-mail and text to respond to any concerns or questions.

Exactly as expected. Great communication from the owners. Very affordable for the area. Thank you Thomas and Mary. Look forward to staying again in the near future.

The location is excellent. While being remote, it is close to 15 to 30 minutes. The space is quite (URL HIDDEN) least bigger than I had expected. Tom and Mary were great with communication. They either answer immediately or shortly thereafter. Wonderful washer and dryer. Excellent location to pool. All in all a great experience for the price.

I enjoyed my stay at Thomas and Mary's condo. I had a very comfortable stay with my husband, parents and brother. The kitchen was very well stocked and we grilled and cooked a few meals at the condo. It's very close to golfing but a bit of a drive to Traverse City or the lake.

Clean and comfortable with the best bed and pillows. Centrally located to all northern Michigan attractions.

Centrally-located condo if you're looking to explore surrounding areas within the Leelanau Peninsula! Clean and bright (especially compared to some of the other listings we scouted out in the area), plenty of space, and just about every kitchen amenity / tool one could need. Hosts communicated promptly and provided clear instructions. Will recommend to family and friends!

Loved the layout of the place, perfect for the 4 of us (2 couples). Each bedroom had an attached bathroom and there was a powder room downstairs. The living room and attached kitchen was nice and comfortable. Easy commute to the nearby wineries.

The condo was very clean and nice just like in the pictures. The backyard was spacious and peaceful, and we enjoyed kicking around a soccer ball for fun. This is a very convenient location if you are travelling around the peninsula because it is centrally located. The location is kind of remote, however. We passed one evening playing Yatzee which we found in the condo. Two of our group enjoyed climbing up the old road to the Sugarloaf ski resort to see the view from the top which is spectacular. We enjoyed our stay.

We both work in the field of mental health-Mary is a psychologist and Tom is CEO of a regional nonprofit. Through our work we both support children with autism and adults with all types of disabilities. Sugarloaf is for us, both a place to retreat as well as a family gathering spot. As such, it’s been the source of many good memories—long walks on the golf courses, teaching grandchildren to swim, exploring new restaurants and of course, there are the wineries. We hope you build similar memories during your stay.
