Excellent site for couples or families, enjoy access to hiking, swimming, golf, scenic views and access to shopping and other amenities in nearby Leland or Glen Arbor. Watch the planes arrive and depart on the Sugarloaf Airstrip during the summer. Several wineries are also nearby.
The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.
Two golf courses are immediately adjacent to the association property--Sugarloaf the Old Course and Manitou Passage.
We have a small, but well stocked kitchen and are happy to share condiments, oils and basic spices.
We also have pool toys available in storage (noodles, diving rings, inflatables, etc.)
The association recently upgraded the Charter Television service to digital and so we added a high speed NetGear wireless router which provides speedy cable internet access.
Interaction with guests
While we don't live on site, we are available via e-mail and text to respond to any concerns or questions.
We both work in the field of mental health-Mary is a psychologist and Tom is CEO of a regional nonprofit. Through our work we both support children with autism and adults with all types of disabilities. Sugarloaf is for us, both a place to retreat as well as a family gathering spot. As such, it’s been the source of many good memories—long walks on the golf courses, teaching grandchildren to swim, exploring new restaurants and of course, there are the wineries. We hope you build similar memories during your stay.
