Christa's place was a total gem for our honeymoon. The location in the old town center was unbeatable. Parking was easy on the street or in the lot across town (~5min walk). There were plenty of restaurants in town to keep us happy for 6 nights. The deck is private, and the unit is very clean. I was hesitant about booking in such a small town, but it was so romantic and we still had all that we needed.

Christa’s house is in the center of Peratallada, is a beautiful stone house, clean, maintained and with a view from the very pleasant terrace. Elena Kindly took care of us. The only problem is the noise from the neighbors’s dog & children's, and the music terrace that just opened just in front of the bedroom.

Response from Christa:
Elena, my assistant explained me the situation of last weekend. I am very sorry that the festival took place and unfortunately it is not in my hands. The city of Peratallada has to decide if festivals of this kind are a good idea in the main summer season. Also the wedding celebrations in the Castle were heavily disturbed as I have been informed about. The dog of my neighbours is normally not an extra ordinary loud dog. Unfortunately if kids, who were guests of my other neighbour are using the pool for the whole day, the dog tries to defend his territory. I hope it was only a chain of circumstances that has guided to your inconvenience and I can only imagine how disappointed you have left my place and my beloved Peratallada. Therefore I have ordered already double glass windows for the apartment and it will be installed in the next two weeks and I constantly try to improve the comfortability of the apartment. The well being and happiness of my guests is my priority.

Christa's place is lovely--a bright, airy flat with a gorgeous patio. The town is quiet and charming, and provides a great home base for visiting the beaches of Costa Brava as well as interior Catalonian towns. Christa was very responsive, and helpful in coordinating our arrival and providing suggestions about places to visit in the area. The flat is well-equipped, down to the beach bag with towels and umbrella.

Great base for visiting Peratallada in Catalonia, there can be no doubt why this fortified medieval town is beloved by all day trippers and some tourists alike. Lovely pale archways, cobbled squares and the town's historic buildings do have a very good restaurants and very few shops. In the centre of the town lies the castle, which is truly something spectacular. It has over 1000 years of history within its walls and in the underground passages beneath it. The site has recently been renovated and the gardens surrounding the castle have been modernized in a way that fits in perfectly with the surroundings. The Romanesque church is very attractive, with an entrance lined with trees to lead you in. Peratallada is very close to a town called Pals, approximately 10km away. Pals is also a medieval town nearby and its appearance is very similar to that of Peratallada. The location is very near to the Mediterranean coast along the Costa Brava and very near the amazing Gerona city. The flat has a very well equipped kitchen so if you do wish to cook everything is there including dishwasher. ... A fantastic flat, clean comfortable with lovely views and indeed very peaceful. We spent one week there and would definitely stay there again. Christa was a terrific host with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
