The space

A warm welcome awaits you at Innisfree House - a luxurious family-run bed and breakfast which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. Ideally situated in Newcastle on the A24 from Belfast and within walking distance of Newcastle Bus Station, each bedroom is spacious and offers en suite facilities. Our locally sourced full Irish breakfast will set you up for a day of hiking in the Mourne Mountains, golfing on the Royal County Down course or just a relaxed stroll along the award-winning seafront promenade, all of which are easily accessible from Innisfree by foot. We look forward to seeing you!

An excellent place, really well presented, clean and comfortable and an ideal alternative accommodation as we were attending a wedding at the Slieve Donard just a couple of mins walk around the corner. Recommended.

Great location for our quick stop over to climb Slieve Donard and very near to Mourne Seafood where we dined the night before.

Located walking distance to scenic Newcastle town, we enjoyed walks along the oceanfront promenade, shops and golf at the Royal County Down. Peter is a great host with a beautiful home, comfortable beds and serves a full Irish breakfast.

I didn't end up staying with Peter as we were in a large group and had some last minute drops outs. His communication was perfect though and I would love to stay with him another time.
