• Sunny bathroom with hot/cold rain shower, glass vanity and toilet.

• HUGE terrace with 270° sea and forest views. Perfect for sunrise, watching the Flying Foxes at sunset and starry nights.

• Welcome Kit for all guests, complete with free Smart sim card, MyBoracayGuide VIP card (good for discounts at many Boracay establishments), guide book and map. Guest book available with my personal restaurant recommendations, island activities and delivery menus.

• Refresh yourself in the plunge pool & park your vehicle in the parking area in front of the property.

• Shambala guests are allowed access to private Balinghai Beach, just 10 minutes away by foot. Entrance is Php 500 consumable, meaning your money can go towards food and beverages at their beach cafe.

Each night. 20-40 minutes after the sun sets. Witness the natural phenomenon of Boracay's fruit bats or "flying foxes" that fly Northwest from Yapak to feed on 300 different fruit plants on the main island of Panay. The fruits they eat contain seeds, which they bring back to Boracay. 95% of the forest in this area are planted by the "flying foxes." All the roosts of the bats are located in Yapak. For more info about this endangered species, search "Friends of the Flying Foxes" (FFF).

• Guests shall use the Apartment only for residential purposes. Guests shall not use the Apartment for any illegal or improper use, i.e., no drugs or loud parties.
• Guests shall notify Host and staff of any repair needed as soon as practicable.
• Guests shall maintain the Apartment in good condition during the entire length of this Agreement and shall neither cause nor allow any abuse of the facilities therein. Guest shall, at his expense, maintain the Apartment in a clean and sanitary condition free from noxious odors, disturbing noises, or other nuisances. Any damage on any part of the Apartment caused or done by the Guest may be repaired by the Landlord for the account of and at the expense of the Guest.
• Common areas shall always remain open. The sidewalks, entries, passages and stairways of the property shall not be obstructed or used by the Guest for any purpose other than for ingress and egress to and from the building's property; the same common areas and space open for use by all guests and the public.

We really enjoyed our stay at Christellas. The terrance is a great place to just hang out and we even worked out on it some days. We also rented a motorbike off someone they recommended which I would advise doing since the place is quite far from the the main tourist areas. Internet is decent and sufficient for work purposes if you connect to your hotspot. We would stay there again if/when we return to borocay.

Place is good for people who want to be away from the crowd at white beach/ nightlife. Be prepared to take walks or tricycle rides which is easily available on the main road. As Shambala Terraces is a few minutes walk in off the main road, late night walk back into the place can be pretty dark. Basic & additional kitchen items were all available, & ventilation was good. Myra, the maid was helpful & made communication during our stay better. It was overall a good & peaceful stay! :-)

I had a great time at christella's place. The view from the apartment is really amazing and the neighbors are really peacefull. Everything that you need are provided and the place is very very clean.

A beautiful apartment near one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. Just a quick tuk tuk ride into town where you'll find all the restaurants and shops. We weren't expecting to pay so much extra for the electricity, as we were really careful but overall an incredible place to stay!

I am sorry if you feel this is too much. Our staff provides all guests with the meter readings and calculate accordingly. Guests are charged only what they consume; no additional fees are added. If you want something a bit further away from the hustle and bustle of Boracay and don't mind travelling a couple of kilometres to get to places then Christella's place is for you. If you don't want to use tricycles then be prepared for some incline walking. We found that the thought of the long journey at times deterred us from venturing out as much as we would have done otherwise. We are also both quite physically fit people but it was very hot whilst we were there. The apartment itself is very nice and very well looked after by the staff who live onsite. The views from the roof terrace are amazing and it is a really beautiful spot to watch the sunset. There is one sun lounger and a large table on the roof. The swimming pool is located on the floor below and is easily accessible. The pool is quite small and doesn't have anywhere to sit or lay around it. We used the pool a few times and seemed to mostly have it to our self. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery and utensils however there is only a gas hob and no oven. There is also no electric kettle or toaster. You have to boil water on the gas stove which can take some time. I think an electric kettle and toaster would go a long way with guests. As explained before check in we paid a 1000 pesos deposit for water and electricity when we arrived. We weren't however told what the meter readings were when we arrived and what the rates for water and electricity are. We ended up paying just over 450 pesos for 3 days and have no idea whether this is a true reflection of what we used. Although we don't suspect any foul play from staff as they seemed very genuine and honest, it would be nice to have this information to hand. We were also charged 100 pesos for using the drinking water in the tank on the side even though we were never informed there would be a charge for this. Overall we had a nice stay at the apartment but if we returned would definitely stay closer to white beach.

Our staff always show the electric and water meter readings and guests are always asked to sign the utilities to confirm that they agree. The drinking water provided was a new full tank. During check-in, everything is usually explained to avoid any misunderstandings. In your case, you arrived very late and did self check-in so our staff was not able to explain until the morning after. We apologize for the confusion. We ensure you that our staff is honest and everything they did was correct. We are sorry to hear that you would choose an accommodation closer to White Beach because our listing description clearly says, "For those looking to be away from the hectic White Beach, Shambala Terraces is for you!" Christella's place is amazing. Great location just off the main road through Boracay. The flat is clean, spacious and airy with BRILLIANT views across the water towards the west - so glorious sunsets are guaranteed from the private terrace. The flat has lots of helpful info and wifi which was really useful. Loved our stay here and would come again.
