Rayn or Shine Getaway is a retreat for the soul...we're sharing our ocean-view home for guests to enjoy and walk to the wide open sandy beach, just a few blocks away. You can hear and watch the waves curl in whitewater surf from the Great Room, Den and Master Bedroom, or step outside to a nice deck with a new hot tub! Our home is family friendly, pet friendly and all on one level. We upgraded lots of details, and we hope you will be delighted by the comfort of our home away from home.

The space
Generous ocean-side windows, vaulted ceilings and skylights pour light into our relaxed and comfortable 1500 sq ft home. The main gathering area has a high bump-up dormer with 12 feet of tall windows, a slate hearth with gas fireplace, and joins an open kitchen with leathered stone serving island and counter-tops. Our cook's kitchen has all new appliances, a wealth of utensils and a stocked pantry. The Master Suite has ocean view, a high quality king bed, walk-in closet and a luxury walk-in double shower. The second bedroom also has a high quality queen bed. A small comfortable Den with ocean views has double doors for privacy and can serve as a quiet reading room, another sleeping area or children's play area.

The attached garage is on floor level, hosts a ping pong table and a couple adult bikes for guests to cruise the neighborhood. The house is ADA accessible throughout, including the ocean-view deck. Enjoy the ocean roar and salt air from the comforts of our new hot tub! We've "decked out" the space with shade sails for UV protection and string lights for evening enjoyment.

Our home is located in the Bayshore Beach Club subdivision. The family friendly neighborhood is quiet, and stretches north/south along the beach, and is easy and safe to walk or ride a bike on. Guests can purchase daily passes to enjoy a large outdoor heated pool and tennis courts, that are open in the summer months between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
