Danny and Pauline have gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The place was spotless and we had everything we could think of. From the milk and butter/jams in the fridge to the ghds and hairdryer in the wardrobe, there were movies, games, lots of recommendations of what to do in the area.. felt like a home from home. And the hot tub was an excellent way to spend an evening after a walk up the hills. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back!

Nice cosy, comfortable apartment. Everything you might need for your stay is here in this home from home. My best bit was relaxing my sore legs in the hot tub after cycling the tour o' the borders sportive. The kids loved the hot tub too and the caramel wafers. Easy walk to Innerleithen shops and restaurants and there's a bus stop nearby if you want to go to Peebles.

What an incredible place to stay! Book it! We couldn't recommend it more! We were looking to escape the city and have a quiet weekend for some quality time together and to recharge the batteries - you will not find a better place to do so! From the warm welcome to the sad goodbyes, this was incredible. Pauline, Danny, Stan and Belle were great hosts. Very friendly, helpful and generous which made us feel at home immediately. They even had a bottle of prosecco in the fridge with local fudge sat waiting for us to enjoy. The apartment could not be faulted, it was packed with stylish character and finished to a very high standard. The hot tub was a little piece of heaven after a long day of walking in the beautiful countryside and, if that wasn't relaxing enough, the wood burner really helped us unwind with the smell of pine cones filling the lounge while we enjoyed our evenings together. We could have stayed forever! If you are worried about being too secluded and missing the comforts of city life, don't be. There are a few nice cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute drive and Edinburgh is only a quick trip on a train! We managed to catch two fringe festival shows, climbed Arthur's seat and rounded it all off with dinner in the city before heading home. This really is a perfect place to stay and we cannot thank Pauline and Dany enough. We hope to be back soon. Kristina and David

Wow! What a wonder find!! Stayed here during the Scottish National Enduro Champs and despite there being 5 of us a couple of nights (3 the rest) we didn't find the apartment cramped or squashed - it's got zero clutter and everything you could ever possibly need (including hot tub friendly ice buckets, chilled prosecco in the fridge, lovely homemade tablet and a Tassimo machine and pods ... not to mention the robes, slippers, luxury toiletries and even GHD's!). The living area opens out onto the modern deck with the sheltered hot tub, seating area and beautiful twinkly lighting on an evening and so this makes the inside space seem much bigger than it is. Having stayed in luxury hotels all over the globe, Danny & Pauline really have created a little oasis of top end luxury equivalent to any hotel! The beds comfy, the pillows fluffy and the bed linen the kind of high quality cotton you'd expect in a hotel - all in all a recipe for a great nights sleep! What really sets there place apart is the hospitality - they live upstairs and Nanna lives next door and whilst they are there for your every need and super friendly and welcoming (my little girl cried when we left!) they also don't feel overbearing and know just how to balance ensuring they are there when needs be but that you have time and space to relax the rest. Innerleithen is a beautiful place to visit with lovely coffee shops, restaurants, niche gift shops, an icecreamery (you can buy a tub to take home!) a co-op supermarket and even an original print works to tour (note; only open Thurs-Sun). We didn't want to leave and will without a doubt be back soon!

Had an amazing stay here, such a lovely small apartment and the hot tub is great! It was the small touches that Danny and Pauline added that made it so nice - homemade tablet, loaf of bread with butter and jam in the fridge, bottle of prosecco and a happy birthday banner too! Hosts were great and easy to contact, would recommend staying here and definitely go alpaca trekking nearby!

Danny And Pauline User ProfileDanny And Pauline is a superhost.

We have been settled back in my hometown for 9 years after travelling and living overseas. We have a son Stan who is 5 and a boxer called Belle. We converted the lower ground level of the building where we live as it had been empty for some years and are looking forward to welcoming visitors to this stunning part of Scotland. We have refurbished the Apartment to a very high standard with many features that we have either loved or would have loved to have had during our travels. Our decision to install the hot tub has been a great success and this has encouraged guests to visit all year round and allowed them to enjoy our place in the chilly winter nights too. Danny is slightly obsessed about the hot tub and you can be guaranteed unlike some other places that the hot tub will be emptied and refilled before your arrival ensuring a sparkly clean tub for everyone... Please get in touch for any more information.
