Come and enjoy my wonderful tiny house located in an older residential neighborhood (Grant Hill) East of Downtown San Diego. The house is perched on a hill with a view that stretches from Tijuana to Coronado, the Pacific Ocean to Downtown San Diego. It's a perfect place for romantics, couples or those needing privacy and a space for creativity. Become immersed in the tiny-house (384 sf) experience while exploring central San Diego - all within a short distance from home.

The space
Panoramic windows, a large deck with a gas BBQ, dining table and chairs - even hummingbirds - are here for your enjoyment. Pocket doors allow you to easily change from an open floor plan to closing off the bedroom for privacy when needed.

Guest access
The house is on the second level with no ADA access. The lower level and yard are not available for your use at this time. (I'm working on it!) The entire property is fenced and accessible only through locked gates.

Other things to note
My home is located in an older residential area, perfect for a calm getaway. This is not a party house. These are my neighbors and I have promised them that they will not be disturbed by any of my guests.

Location

San Diego, California, United States

You will be close to much of what central San Diego has to offer: Downtown is 20 blocks (5 min drive) away, Coronado Island is close enough to almost touch, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo and Seaport Village are all less than 10 mins away. Drive or take the trolley to the Gaslamp District downtown for food and live music every night of the week, and for our LGBTQ family, Hillcrest is 10 minutes away. Grant Hill park is across the street, offering picnic tables, amazing views and play opportunities. There are Jamaican, Salvadorian, Mexican and burger restaurants all within a one mile radius. For the late birds, there are numerous 24 hour restaurants nearby featuring Mexican cuisine and drinks. Finally, various shops and stores (99 Cents Only, with fresh groceries!) to meet your needs are all within walking distance. And, of course, Mexico is a short 15 mile drive South. (Bring your passport!) This is an older part of San Diego with many historical buildings in the area. "Modern" it is not and the city is hoping to keep it that way.
