Chalet Klipkop is situated in a quiet community and indigenous landscape filled with fynbos under the Hottentots Holland Mountain. Grabouw town is only a 45 minute drive away from Cape Town and 15 minutes from the beaches of Gordon’s Bay or the Somerset West Mall for a movie or diverse culinary experience.
The Elgin Valley hosts three large dams (Eikenhof - , Steenbras - and Theewaterkloof Dam), the Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve and various farmstalls (Peregrine, The Orchards and Houw Hoek Farmstall) on route to neighboring towns for alternate entertainment such as The Caledon Casino or Hermanus to experience the majestic whales.
For a quick stock-up, Grabouw town provides local stores close by such as The Marshrose Mall that hosts a Wimpey, SPAR, Bookshop, Biltong Kiosk and much more for your refreshment needs.

A short turnoff from the N2, Chalet Klipkop sits in the picturesque town of Grabouw and 850 meters or a 10 minute walk from the main village, that is surrounded by apple orchards and award winning wine farms among the pine forests and fynbos of the Hottentots Holland Mountain.
This affordable and luxurious self-catering accommodation offers a unique farm stay with many activities offered within the area itself and surrounding towns. Spoiled for choice, a family day ride to the farm or a romantic picnic among the trees are but some of activity trends.
More intricate activities are available for the brave at heart such as hiking or mountain biking, yet the quiet and the beautiful scenery among the indigenous fauna and flora on the Chalet Klipkop property provides for relaxation and mediation with the sound of the man made pool fountain in the background.
With its friendly hospitality, Chalet Klipkop provides the visitor with a unique stay in any of the four themed accommodations situated on a 1.5 hectare property among the natural and landscaped botanical garden.
