A 5 minute walk to Pak n Save, multiple fast food outlets and Ashbury Park. A further 10 minutes walk will have you at Caroline Bay and the Aquatic Centre. Bus stop down the Road to town alternatively it's a $7 taxi ride or 20 minute walk.

Timaru is my hometown, centrally located in New Zealand's beautiful South Island. I am a secondary school teacher and Matt is the manager of the Timaru Airport. We live with our super cool dog, Indie, and our baby girl, Emmy (don’t worry, you can’t hear her crying from your room)!

Matt and I both love travelling and have traveled all over the world both solo and together. Our last trip, before Covid, was to Sri Lanka.

One of the main reasons we decided to become hosts is because when we are travelling we never spend much time in our hotel rooms because we are always out exploring yet we were paying a small fortune for them! We wanted to offer people, who are away from home, a quiet, cozy, comfortable, clean room for a fraction of the price!
