Enter through the gate into a little bit of Paradise. This hidden garden will take your breath away. You have your own entrance down the outside stairs to a cozy garden patio with picnic table for your use. Enter into the skylight garden room where there is comfortable seating. The small fridge and microwave and pop up toaster with tea or coffee makings available whenever you choose. Enjoy your morning in this indoor garden room after a lovely quiet sleep in your extremely comfortable king bed.

The space
You are welcome to use the lower garden patio, it is not totally private, as I am sometimes working in the veggie garden close to the patio, but most of the time it is totally yours. The property is fully fenced and quiet. Access is through the front gate only. You have your own stairs down one the side of the home to your private entrance. The garden room is yours to use during your stay. You have a very private bedroom and bath with a large tiled shower

Where you’ll be

Port Angeles, Washington, United States

This home is close to everything. You can walk down to the ferry to Victoria BC from here. Explore the town and restaurants. There is a great drive only minutes away to Ediz Hook, a spit of land that forms the harbor of Port Angeles. People bike, jog or drive there. The view is spectacular looking back at Port Angeles and the Olympic Range just behind the town and then turn around and to the north there is Vancouver Island across the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Marvelous. Of course the road up to Hurricane Ridge overlooking the Olympic range is minutes away. Beautiful Lake Crescent is a must with a short walk to waterfalls. There is also The Spruce Trail, for walking or biking that goes for miles on one side of Lake Crescent. Salt Creek regional park is a gem. So many wonderful places to explore and fill your days. Including The Hoh Rainforest. The Olympic Peninsula is a place you wished you stayed longer.

I retired from years running my own business in Remodel and Interior designer. I enjoy gardening, exploring the Olympic Peninsula, pursuing my artwork, writing and photography. After finding this lovely home, I decided that it was a perfect place for an Airbnb and a great way to share this charming home and special garden. I love meeting new people and sharing. Nothing like waking up to a day in the garden or a trip to a waterfall or exploring a new area. I also enjoy searching for mushrooms to photograph, which is always a great excuse to get out into the woods. This area is a mushroom hunters paradise, hikers dream and just wonderful for exploring by bike or car. For bikes, the Olympic Trail and the Spruce trail are close by.

During your stay
I prefer to greet you at my front door and then show you around the downstairs when you arrive. I make sure you know how to use the programed lock. When I am working in my art room or in the garden in the lower level or come through the outside patio on my way from or to my garage we might see each other but mostly I will be in the main upstairs private area. I am here a good deal of the time to help you with questions or ideas for adventures. There are maps and pamphlets laid out on the brass table in the garden room.
