Our house is a semidetached house in a condominium of 17 buildings, called Lagoon Ocean Resort . This is no typical resort with a reception, guest entertainment and so on. It is a quiet retreat, with access only for residents and guests. You find a parking for your car and a swimming pool with shower, deckchairs and a typical palapa that offers shade. This is all in a well-maintained compound with blossoming plants.
Nearby are the sandy beach and two retaurants /bars with affordable prices.

The space
Our house is situated directly to the bayside so that you have a spectecular view both to the bay and to the Caribean Sea.
The sandy beach can be reached in one minute. You just have to walk down a stairway. If you prefer a plan access, no problem. Just take a little detour and you are in five minutes on the beach.

The ground-floor offers you a bathroom with warm water shower and toilet, a well equipped kitchen with refrigerator (with freezer), microwave oven, a 4 plates hob and a Senseo coffee-machine. There is warm water in the kitchen, which is not selfevident in this kind of house. The kitchen is open to the living-room, where are a sofabed (140x200cm) and a desk. Four persons find place at the table.
A staircase leads you upstairs to the bedroom with a boxspring bed (180x200cm) and the other bathroom, identically equipped as the one in the ground-floor. There is a small room for your clothes. Here is a safe too.
From the bedroom you have access to the large patio with a sunsail , two deckchairs and outdoor furniture. This is the best place to enjoy the superb view and listen to the sound of the sea and the whispering palms.
The house was renovated in 2019 and is equipped with new bathroom items, bed and sofabed. The aircondition (one downstairs and one upstairs) is brandnew too. It is silent and efficient. All windows and doors have insect screens.
We also provide a cool box for you.

A PADI diving-center is 50 meters away. Here you can book courses and rent diving equipment.

In Lagun is a very small shop operated by locals.
On the beach fishermen sell the real „catch of the day“. Really inexpensive and the freshest seafood you can buy. Try it out!

There is an inexpensive possibility to take your laundry to a dry-ceaning called „Duzu“ in Tera Cora, ten minutes away by car.

During your stay

For we donˋt live permanently on the island, we have a reliable person who speaks English, Dutch, German and will welcome you, when you arrive at the house. She can explain you everything concerning the house and the resort. Apart from this she can give you some tips what to do on the island and is at your side if any problems occur.
If desired, we can provide a shuttle service to the airport and a food package (on demand, extra costs).
We also can help you booking a car, which is absolutely recommended in this part of the island.

Attention, as there have in enquiries from time to time:
A deposit of € 50 or $ 50 or NAF 100 is payable in cash to Johanna on arrival. This is only to cover possible higher energy costs or small damages. So far, the deposit has been refunded to each guest upon departure.
