Brand new fully self-contained 2 bdm Lockwood cabin nestled high up in native bush with stunning views towards Treble Cone ski-field. If you want seclusion, peace and quiet and easy access to some of the best skiing, cycling and hiking trails in NZ this home is perfect. Only 5 min drive to lake-front, 1 hour to ski fields. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry, large-screen TV with Netflix available. Off-street parking for 2 cars. Outside spa and a drying room for ski gear available for guest use.

The space
Wake up to the sound of birds, have a leisurely breakfast on the deck and take in the magic of the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, take an easy 10 min stroll down to 'Monkey Farm' cafe and enjoy their daily specials and excellent coffee as you plan your day. Whether you're into action-packed adventure or happy to sit back and soak up the spectacular scenery from our brand new hot tub, there's plenty for everyone in our little corner of paradise. Ascend the stairway to 'Haven' and follow your own private path up to the cottage with sensor lights to guide your way at night. The cottage is spacious, light-filled and sparkling clean. The second bedroom has two single beds which can be converted into a King bed.

My background is in nursing, counselling and training. I am a kiwi and although I've travelled extensively and lived in Australia for the past 20 years I have finally found my way home. My husband Tony and I have just finished building our 'forever' home in Wanaka and added a beautiful self-contained cottage up in the bush behind us. We both enjoy meeting new people and would love to introduce visitors to our spectacular part of the world.
I guess my life motto could be condensed to: Stay true to yourself, follow your passion, approach life with a sense of curiosity and wonder, celebrate diversity and sprinkle lots of love, laughter and compassion along the path you travel.
