Where you’ll be

Stanley, Idaho, United States

The cabin is located in a campground, where other guests / RVs and tents are present.
Stanley rv + camp is located 5 miles west of downtown Stanley.
Two major trailheads are located with 5 miles of camp. (Stanley Lake & Iron Creek)
Valley Creek is about 1000 feet across the highway and is accessed via public-access Forest Service land from camp and has trails along it for walking or fishing. A great spot to take the dog(s)!
Stanley Lake entrance is 1/2 mile away from camp.

Please note that Stanley is located at 6,500' elevation. We regularly have a 40 degree swing from day to night...with temps at night in the 40s even in July and August. Plan your clothing accordingly.
If visiting us in May or October, please be aware that freezing overnight temps are the normal. Water or other liquids will freeze if left outside overnight...please plan accordingly. Although there are heaters in the cabin, we highly recommend extra blankets for comfort.

Your hosts during your stay are Joe and Lindsay and our doggie pal Gemma. We met in Idaho and fell in love with everything the state has to offer, especially Stanley. We enjoy camping and being outdoors and it has been a long dream to host our own campground. In 2019, our dream came true and we couldn’t be more excited! Our mission is to connect people with nature. The campground is close to world-renowned fishing, white-water rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and our favorite, the natural hot springs. We look forward to meeting you during your stay! - Joe and Lindsay
