Great location90% of recent guests gave this home’s location a 5-star rating.

Off-grid living in the jungle but still conveniently located. My little cabin is fifteen minutes from Hilo and the airport and is centrally located to Volcano National Park (25 minutes), Puna and Red Road (35 minutes) and the Hamakua Coast (35 minutes). Excellent location to enjoy all the amazing sights and activities here on the Big Island. With the lava flowing to the ocean again, visiting the Big Island is a real treat.

Thanks Daniel! Glad you enjoyed your stay despite the pesky mosquitoes. We provide candles, mosquito coils for use on the lanai, and of course bug screens to keep 'em out of the house. They can't be kept away 100% but using those tools keeps the bites down substantially :)

Great place! Good get away from everything but still be able to drive into town in 10 minutes. Don’t let the outside shower fool you, in my opinion it’s the highlight of the place.

An amazing little slice of paradise. A short drive to the nearest marketplace yet secluded enough to feel completely private. The geckos are ever-present, eating any bugs that happen to stray too close to the house. The hosts are very thoughtful and the whole property is very tas…

Tam’s cozy cabin in woods was a great place to stay for a couple nights while we explored the eastern side of the big island. His cabin is 10-15 miles north from the volcano so there was no impact to the area. You could not even tell anything was happening from where we were. The…

Peaceful. Tranquil. Beautiful. Great location, far enough away from it all but short drives to all the must sees. Far more facilities than i had expected. Mosquito deterrents, condiments, dvds, ear plugs, some toiletries...everything you need! LOVE the decor, so many cute touches…
