Situated on 25 acres located high above the shores of Lake Hawea this luxury hand crafted homestead boasts world class lake and mountain views. A grand open-plan living area, with high open ceilings with exposed beams, beautiful stacked stone fireplaces indoors and out and a comfortable and inviting lounge and dining area. The entire homestead is comprised of 7 bedrooms and four bathrooms, inclusive of the adjoining three bedroom self contained guest wing.

The space
The location of this homestead is second to none, offering true peace and seclusion with elevated views over one of the most spectacular lakes in New Zealand. The house is hand crafted, and its spacious design and positioning allows the full magnitude of the views of the surrounding mountains and lakes to be savoured.

A large open plan living area with exposed beams, an open schist fire place, state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, a rocket coffee machine and a large oak dining table that seats up to 12 guests allows small and larger groups the opportunity to truly relax and enjoy. The living area offers grand design cedar sliders that open out onto the lawns and BBQ area.

In the evening you can sit in the hot tub and look out upon the surrounding mountains and lakes, or you can sit beside the indoor or outdoor open schist fire place, absorbing the warmth of the fire and sipping on a glass of local pinot or one of Wanaka's craft beers. There is a traditional Swedish Sauna that seats up to 6 people available for guest use.

The bedrooms are spacious and luxurious. The upstairs bedroom in the main homestead has its own ensuite, walk in robe and ensuite. The two downstairs bedrooms share an ensuite bathroom and both rooms offer large cedar doors that open up onto the lawn. There is one smaller room located upstairs which offers a perfect location for little ones, with two twin beds.

Adjoining the main homestead is a guesthouse that is fully self-contained. It contains three additional bedrooms, one bathroom as well as its own kitchen.

There is internal and external access to both the main homestead and the guesthouse. There is also a children's room that adjoins the main living area that offers games, books, toys its own TV.

The home is situated only a stones throw from Lake Hawea a beautiful lake away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Wanaka. Here you will find a great shop/cafe and restaurant, pub, bottle shop, golf course, children's playground, fishing, safe swimming areas and a boat ramp to name a few.

Lake Wanaka
Lake Wanaka is only a short drive away where you can enjoy, shopping, restaurants, cafes and winery's. There are three ski fields all within a 40 min drive. This area offers numerous activities from leisurely day trips on the lake or a round of golf on arguably one of the most scenic courses to thrill seeking river rafting, canyoning and skydiving. Mount Aspiring national park is on the doorstep ready to explore via helicopter for glacier landings or on foot tramping through the wilderness.
