It's a perfect apartment. Everthing you need are around you. Parking is not a problem, but i suggest leave yr car at home.since it's really hard to find a paking space at downtown. Gian is nice host who speaks quite good English and easy to communicate. 类似酒店式公寓,非常好!GP很帮忙,人很帅,英语也好…

This is the best apartment that we stayed in during our trips, which included apartments in Paris, Milan and Rome. Spotlessly clean, spacious. Gian was really helpful with the directions, and he gave us basic food supplies to get started with. Supermarket is around 5 minutes away…

Response from Gian Piero:
Dear Dirk, the parking outside the building is public not private and it's FREE, as stated in the ad! Indeed, white lines that outline the parking spot tells you that the parking is free, when you see blu lines, instead, you have to pay. The parking outside the building and the one close to the building (100 mt not 600 mt as you said) are totally free. Now, if you park your car in THE MIDDLE OF THE PARKING LOT OUTSIDE THE DESIGNATED AREA, EXPECT TO GET A THICKET, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN A CIVILIZED COUNTRY. I find it outrageous that you even dare to ask for a refund of your thicket as a result of your misbehavior. I don't see what else I could do, if not participate with you in you being upset for the thicket and help you by telling where you could easily pay your fine, which by the way was 28 euros if payed within 5 days (as I could see from the picture of the ticket that you sent me) and not 41 euros as you are mentioning. You are manipulating information deliberately. You are even forgetting to mention that you managed to park your car several other times right outside the car gate of the building on the left side, as I have seen it with my eyes since. How come you are not mentioning that? About the distance from the center: thank God there are so many other reviews that talk exactly about this issue and had a complete different experience from what you describe. My flat is close to Battistini station (main line of Subway A) and in order to get to the Battistini you can get the bus right outside the flat and be there in 8 minutes. Now, you can easily check the require travel time if you go on (Hidden by Airbnb) and calculate the following:

We just spent 5 days at Gian. He was waiting for us, and after quick and precise instructions, we slowly got used to the place. It was nice to call it home. Yes it is relatively easy to travel anywhere in central Rome. But still you need to know that once you go out exploring…

Response from Gian Piero:
Thank you Leo, It was a great pleasure to have you and your wife as guests. I think there has been a confusion between the public review and the private feed back that led me to think that your private feed back was meant to be public, so I am "pasting" it here as a reference for other guests like you. Thanks again, here it is: “Gian's apartment is absolutely stunning!! We were made very welcome. It was great to have a variety of immediate needs such as coffee, tea, milk and biscuits. Everything in the apartment was of the highest quality and comfortable. The private garden was a delight! It was easy to cook a meal with a very serviceable kitchen. It was a pleasure to come home to this airconditioned apartment each day after an excursion in the hot Roman sun. The apartment is close to the city centre, with eaay access to busses and trains. Gian was very helpful with a variety of arrangements including organising a taxi to the airport for us. We have used Airbnb throughout our journey through Europe, all our accommodation has been great. Gian's apartment was the best. Thank you Gian. No improvement is necessary. Gian's apartment is outstanding!”
