If you are thinking of visiting the North-East of Scotland for sightseeing, this accommodation, which is part of a recently converted steading situated close to the Formartine and Buchan Way, is ideal for the keen cyclist or walker. Perfect as a base to explore the many coastal villages, golf courses, whisky distilleries and castles, or to relax for some quiet time away from the noise and hustle of city life.

The space
This elegant accommodation is set in a peaceful rural location and is ideal for couples who wish a quiet place to kick back and relax. Due to the open plan staircase and wood burning stove it is not suitable for children.

The accommodation is one wing of my house which is a converted U-shaped steading. Guests have a separate entrance to the accommodation and their own private patio seating area with BBQ and firepit.

The stunning full height gable window offers views of the surrounding countryside. The ground floor accommodation includes open plan living and includes; lounge, wood burner stove, TV, DVD player (selection of DVDs available) & EZMira Mirroring from smart phone or tablet to TV, WI-FI and Ethernet connection. A basket of logs, kindling and firelighters are provided (additional bags of logs are available to purchase).

There is space for dining and the small kitchenette has an oven, hob, fridge (with freezer box), dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and a Tassimo coffee machine. There is complimentary filter, instant coffee, small selection of Tassimo coffee, and a variety of breakfast and herbal teas.

A welcome pack is provided for your convenience which includes; milk, butter, jam, pastries, local free range eggs, and homemade preserves. A bottle of prosecco will be chilling in the fridge so you are all set for your first romantic evening.

The open plan oak staircase leads to the large gallery bedroom. The bedroom has a very comfortable king sized bed with memory foam mattress, there is a hanging rail, dressing table with drawers and a separate seating area with Ethernet port. The bedroom has views over the lounge and out to the garden.

The en-suite bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and chrome towel rail. Shower gel, soap, shampoo, conditioner, feminine products and first aid kit are provided. There is a hairdryer in bedroom.

The property can be accessed by a track and has ample parking. Access to the accommodation is by a gravel pathway. The property has secure active CCTV in operation.

If cycling, there is undercover storage for bikes. Arrangements can be made to dry wet gear.

PLEASE NOTE - The location is rural, (please note the distance from nearest town Ellon amenities) access to the property is by a farm track, not a public highway. Due to the location the property is served by a private water supply, on rare occasions there can be intermittent disruptions in water supply, if this occurs, bottled water will be supplied.
