Our spa luxury, hillside mud brick retreat is perfect for memorable getaways with friends or large families. Surrounded by 20 acres of farmland and native scrub our property is secluded, yet only 30 mins to Adelaide City, the Adelaide Hills, the Barossa, the Coast and 5 minutes to all modern conveniences. Emmlot Farm is perfect for 12 guests offering king/queen/double bedroom luxury. (Extra single beds to sleep 5 additional guests in shared living areas, also available).

The space
A unique and beautiful mud brick home, crafted by hand, offering open plan living spaces with rustic wool shed Jarrah beams, soaring ceilings with ceiling fans and a combustion stove and open fireplace in the sunken lounge bar. Extensive library onsite (that can fit 2 single fold out beds), and original paintings are exhibited on the walls throughout.
The large dining room with handcrafted table provides seating for 14 people, and a breakfast bar alongside provides extra seating near dining table for 4 people.
A newly renovated kitchen with large 5 burner oven and plenty of bench & cupboard space is equipped with modern appliances, inc. filtered water on tap, coffee pod machine, dishwasher, microwave, pots and pans. The cupboards are stocked with crockery, cutlery, glassware and appliances and a large fridge and freezer and pantry available for your supplies.
Emmlot Farm offers 6 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 12 guests and 5 additional guests (to either sleep in shared living areas or added to the library and 3 of the 6 bedrooms with floor space allowing) and three full bathrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, a walk through robe, an ensuite spa bathroom with shower & toilet and an ottoman with a single fold out bed.
Bedroom 2 & 3 each have double beds with a shared ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, vanity & toilet.
Bedroom 4, 5 & 6 each have queen beds and 2 of these can fit a trundle bed or an additional single fold out bed.
The private library can accommodate 2 single folding beds for larger groups.
Additional beds include 4 fold out single beds a single trundle bed, a baby crib and porta cot and are available upon request, for additional guests.
The main bathroom has a clawfoot bath, separate shower, vanity with sink and toilet and is accessible from the main living areas.
Wide veranda’s surround the house, a large lawn area, a huge sandpit and playground, provides outdoor space and a toy chest filled with play equipment, and a ping pong table, provides activity for all the family.
There is a resident flock of sheep, working bee hive, a productive veggie patch and seasonal orchard on the property. Explore the natural bush land surrounding the house and see how many species of birds and native wildlife you can see. If you sit quietly in the natural spaces, you may see the kangaroos, koalas and echidnas which also visit the property.

Approx. 15 minutes drive to walking trails in Anstey's Hill Recreation Park or Cobbler Creek Recreation Park, Tea Tree Gully Heritage Museum , Gallery 1855, Newman's Garden Center, Garden Grove Garden and Gift Center, with easy access to Campbell Town's fine food trail.
