Our home is a cape cod located on Crystal Beach Road. The back deck is located on the Torch River Bayou, with room to slip one boat. The river connects to the Chain of Lakes and across the street is the sandy access to the famous Torch Lake Sandbar. We are just down the street from the boat launch onto Torch Lake. Less than half a mile from Torch River Marine where you can rent boats and jet skis.

The space
The House has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and space for eight people to relax after spending the day enjoying beautiful Northern Michigan. We have a large deck with a gas grill that is perfect for BBQ. There is a fire pit overlooking the Torch Bayou great for experiencing a proper Northern Michigan evening enjoying the view, with roasted marshmallows.

The nearby town of Alden also has a boat ramp, wine tasting, swimming areas, as well as several unique shops and restaurants. For the craft beer lovers, Shorts Brewery is just minutes up the road in the nearby town of Bellaire. At only (40) minutes to Traverse City, there you can enjoy The National Cherry Festival, restaurants, casinos, vineyards, breweries, and tap rooms. Within 15 minutes you'll have mountain biking trails, cherry orchards, golf courses, and access to Lake Michigan in nearby Elk Rapids. Also, within an hour's drive you will be able to visit Charlevoix, Petoskey and Sleeping Bear Dunes.
