This is one of a few places in the area that has this feature.
Spacious and comfy flat in the heart of the downtown Art District. Double/single rooms with free Wi-Fi and book-swap spot. The flat is well located between the train station and the main square, walking distance to downtown bars and restaurants.

The space
My flat is well-suited for everyone who wants to spend some time discovering the hidden treasures of Bologna or take part in several exhibitions (Arte Fiera, Sana, Cersaie, Motor Show, Cosmoprof, Career Day, Smau, Farete, Smart City, etc) or concerts (famous italian clubs are just a couple of bus stops away, like Covo Club, Link, Locomotiv, Cassero, Estragon, etc) . Its perfect location allows guests to easily reach the Bologna Exhibition Centre and all the clubs and the best bars in downtown Bologna.

Guest access
You can relax in the spacious and comfortable living room, use the kitchen to prepare your meals and have access to all amenities. There's a small balcony outside the kitchen where you can enjoy the cool of the evening. Guests can use the house media center to watch movies and listen to music.

Other things to note
The flat is in the ZTL (limited traffic area) with access controlled by cameras from 7am to 8pm. The best parking option to avoid fines or spending a lot of money at parking meters areas is APCOA underground parking in Via Azzogardino with convenient 24hrs parking rates, 20 meters from the apartment.

Location

Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

Bologna was named a European Capital of Culture in 2000; as a result, it raised $10 million to transform the neighborhood in the northwest into an arts hub. Up to that point, a former slaughterhouse, salt warehouse, and tobacco warehouse stood deserted. Now, a million-square-foot area is being refashioned into a complex called Manifattura delle Arti, or Factory of the Arts.
The former slaughterhouse was gutted in 2003, then turned into the Cineteca, a center for film research and restoration. It houses the Charlie Chaplin film archives; Chaplin fans can borrow DVDs of his movies from the airy, light-filled library and watch them at screening stations that are available to the public free of charge. In a connected building are two art-house theaters named after the Lumière brothers, Auguste and Louis, who held the first public movie screening in Paris in 1895.
Across the way, the salt warehouse was converted into a new home for Cassero, the city's gay and lesbian center. There's a disco and a backyard garden, where raucous parties take place on hot summer nights.
Art galleries, design shops, and lounges are sprouting up all around the district. In summary, from my living room window you can admire the Bologna Museum of Modern Art (MAMbo, or Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna), a purpose-designed centre of modern and experimental art.

Passionate traveller, musician and cinemaddict. I rent my house to know people, discover amazing histories and, well, get some money to pay my next trips. I live with Raksha, a 4 y.o. discreet cat, and a lot of instruments. Maybe we could jam sometime.
