The maisonette offers ground floor access on to West Kirby's main high-street with living accommodation on the 1st and 2nd floors and a ground floor laundry room with access to the rear parking bay . As a result of being in the centre of town guests should expect some road noise, however the property is double glazed throughout to ensure that any noise is not intrusive.

Very Spacious 1st/2nd floor flat. Very Clean, well equipped and a great location. Good sized rooms and 2 bathrooms Only 5 minutes walk from the beach, 2 minutes from the Railway Station and 5 minutes ( by car) from the Royal Liverpool Golf Club. Plenty of good places to eat very nearby. The flat has off street parking around the back. Comfy beds. Nick was very welcoming on arrival and showed us where everything was. We had a great stay everything was just perfect

Nick was a great host. Location was great for getting into Liverpool by train (around the corner) or seeing the sights of the Wirral. Nick had loads of brochures on local attractions. Shops, pubs, etc on the doorstep. With three lads, it must have felt like Nick was staying with us rather than the other way around - our 9 year old had breakfast with Nick one morning while the rest of us had a lie in. TVs in all the bedrooms and a playstation went down a treat. Everything was spick and span and no problem using appliances, if needed. Parking space was a great bonus. We had the second floor all to ourselves. Would recommend staying with Nick if looking for accommodation in the area. Thanks Nick - John & Family.

Nick's place is clean and tidy and with 3 massive double rooms was ideal for a group of us for the weekend. Beds were really comfortable with feather duvets and pillows which I loved! Seconds from West Kirby station which is really handy - easy journey from / to Liverpool. Thanks Nick!

Very impressed overall. Particularly liked the little touches Nick had provided e.g. bottles of water in each room, toiletries. He covered all eventualities for what you might need for an overnight stay! Rooms were very clean and well presented, flat was very spacious. Would definitely recommend.

Interaction with guests

Guests will be greeted on arrival and shown around the accommodation. The guest accommodation for this listing is the entire 2nd floor. The host accommodation is on the 1st floor, including a separate bathroom.

Guests can be assured of space and privacy on the 2nd floor and are welcome to make full use of communal areas such as the lounge, kitchen and laundry room. About Nick

Welcome to my profile page. I'm Nick, 34, born and bred in the North-West of England. I moved to the Wirral Peninsula approximately 29 years ago (with some help) and have based myself in and around West Kirby for most of that time.

I have to work, sometimes, which is unfortunate, and has been the bane of my life. However I have been hosting guests on Airbnb for a few months now and have really enjoyed all aspects of it, well, apart from all the ironing! With a background in Hospitality I take real pride in ensuring every guests stay is comfortable and that they are made to feel at home.

I have welcomed guests from around the world and so far have scoffed chocolate gifts from Malaysia, Dublin, Switzerland and Denmark. So far, 'Toms Chokolade' from Denmark is in first place. Very moreish!

Aside from work I take the opportunity to enjoy many of the outdoor activities on offer locally, especially Cycling, Wind surfing, Golf and an unhealthy obsession with Cricket. I've yet to be seduced by Bird Watching but I hear the Dee Estuary is a Mecca for Twitchers, if you're into that sort of thing. North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park are also 'on the doorstep' and you can often find me rolling around mountains and throwing myself off cliffs at 'ZipWorld'.

West Kirby has a great array of restaurants, bars and cafes to enjoy, special mentions go to 'The Wro', 'Aubergine Cafe', 'Slinky's' and 'The Tap'. However if you're after *probably* the best night-life in the UK just jump on the train to Liverpool (trains every 15 minutes at peak hour, approximately 45 minute journey, 1 min walk to station) and visit The Albert Dock, Matthew Street and Concert Square. Since becoming the European Capital of Culture in 2008 the investment in the docklands and surrounding areas has transformed Liverpool into a global tourist hotspot, enjoy!

Whilst the accommodation will mostly be kept free of personal artifacts,you may find a horrific selection of popular fiction, Guardian magazines and Michel Gondry films which you are more than welcome to ignore.
