This historical mansion is a wonderful example of authentic stone houses of the region, with many examples of intricate carved artwork, an inner courtyard and a large terrace with terrific views of Mesopotamian plains.

The space
The house is centrally located in "Old Mardin" in a quiet residential neighborhood, surrounded with historical sites. It has been recently renovated, restoring the original stone carvings of the walls and ceilings.
Most of the living space has incredibly high ceilings, making the house very spacious and airy. The courtyard and the terrace offer additional private relaxation areas where you can enjoy your coffee or tea.

As part of my work, I have been living and traveling extensively in the South Eastern Region of Turkey for 10 years. I am in love with the stone-masonry & artwork of Mardin houses.
