Villa Palmera is a hidden gem in the wild jungle of Mal Pais, a peaceful village just a few minutes drive away from bustling main road of Santa Teresa, where plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and boutiques can be found, as well as world-class surf breaks.

The 3-story 3-bedroom villa can accommodate up to 10 people, and offers warm wooden finishes and vibrant splashes of color that make this unique property the ultimate tropical getaway.

The space
The remarkable Villa Palmera manages to mimic the effect of a treehouse, with a unique structure of three lofty floors almost floating around in nature, where the top floor is home to a pampering master suite with a full bathroom, lined with windows to let in maximum light and greenery of the surrounding jungle canopy.

The bottom floor features two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bathroom, as well as access to a wooden deck with a pool, BBQ, and outdoor seating area, where guests can immerse themselves with the wild jungle around them. The outdoor area is also an ideal venue for small gatherings and events, which must be coordinated in advance at additional charges.

The second floor offers a comfortable living room with a smart TV, spacious kitchen equipped with all of the necessary amenities, and a serene balcony perfect for afternoon naps on the hammock.

Linens, towels, and a daily cleaning service are included, along with high-speed internet throughout the property. The entire house is fully air-conditioned and ceiling fans are spread throughout. Excellent fiber optic Wifi is available at every corner of the property.

The villa is tucked away in the peaceful village of Mal Pais— the lush, residential neighborhood just south of the bustling town of Santa Teresa. Mal Pais is preferred by many guests and locals for its idyllic balance: tranquil and indigenous jungle just steps away from the pristine beach, yet a short 3 minute drive into town.

Enjoy the afternoon sun lounging by the pool, followed by aperitifs with friends on the cozy upstairs balcony, and then fall asleep in the treetops of the jungle canopy in the top-floor master suite, lined with windows on all sides— the perfect sunset spot. Wake up to a chorus of howler monkeys and birds, then take an 5-minute walk through the jungle to the beach.

The Mal Pais coastline is entirely undeveloped and studded with volcanic rock formations, creating an unspoiled yet dynamic environment perfect for swimming or relaxing at the natural tide pools. Two supermarkets (Super Chico and Super Ronny) are each 1 km away, along with all of the delicious restaurants, bars, boutiques and world-class surf breaks of Santa Teresa.
