Fully stocked, unique but unfinished fort style beach cabin. Contains a memory foam king that can be split into two twins, a twin roll away and queen sofa sleeper.

This work in progress is simple but comfortable, located on 3 forested and explorable acres with a small pond that is shared with a private glass art studio (lesson packages available). Situated right at the beach approach and 2 miles north of Shoalwater Bay Casino in Tokeland and south of the local grocery in Grayland.

The space

Lush forrest, a small pond and great beach access without the state park crowds. The cabin lacks some finishing details but it was comfortable enough for us to call home for the last three years.

Guest access

Guests are happy to enjoy the house, porch, firepit and surrounding forrest and pond area. Please ask for assistance before entering the glass studio/gallery. The beach approach is a short walk or drive down Warrenton Cannery Rd.

Interaction with guests

If we are not available to greet you the neighbor will be stopping in to say hello and confirm your reservation. We should be onsite during the day or at least in the neighborhood and always enjoy an evening fireside chat.

We had a wonderful time writing music here. It was perfect! Sleeps four comfortably, Michelle & Jeremy brought us fresh apple cider too! This is a gorgeous location--just a short walk from the beach, and I'd highly recommend going out there at night, as the stars are something special.

Stop reading this and book it. You won't regret it. We traveled down with a group of friends that rented another cabin right up the road. Staying in the art-fort-able cabin made our weekend truly magical. They were, hands down, the most friendly and accommodating hosts I have ever stayed with. We were hoping to be a more chill cabin for our group to nap and recharge at, so they set up hammocks for us. We wanted to try our hand at crabbing, and they made sure we were all set up with gear and gauges to stay on the up and up and a big pot with a burner to keep stuff cooking evenly. We arrived to a beautiful plate of tasty tasty muffins and were delighted when we were surprised with another plate of blackberry crumble fresh harvested and still warm from the oven. The cabin and grounds are a work of love, filled with creativity and artistic energy. I am still blown away by how awesome the bathroom was. Michelle did an amazing job with it and at night it became even more magical. Jeremy showed us around his shop and let us watch the glass making process up close. They were excellent about communicating and made us feel so welcome. The beds were both so nice. I slept like a baby. The only thing I would caution is that the property is still a beautiful work in progress. It probably wouldn't be great for kids or Type A people who would freak out being somewhere that has a few unfinished edges and some very cute ducks and goats.

This little respite of an artistic "work in progress", set in a small rural farm and art studio property was just what my family needed to take advantage of the local beach treasures and geographic history. Michelle and Jeremy knocked our socks off as hosts with great communication and unexpected tasty surprises to add to our stay. Ask for pictures to prepare for your stay if needed. We will be back again as soon as our schedule allows it.

For our first experience with Airbnb, I have to say it was great. Michelle and Jeremy were wonderful, the place was exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere was relaxed, and laid back, and the hosts were excellent, and the critters made everyone's day.

A beautiful cabin with art and treasures to discover. We enjoyed the friendly demeanor of the hosts as well as the relaxed atmosphere surrounding the property. My favorite was the ducks that eventually warmed up to us, as well as having a great bed to sleep in. We couldn't ask for a better value so close to the beach!
