This tent is Mali: Comfortable large tent on the sea with queen bed, fan, electrical outlets, private bathroom with hot shower. The tent is only 2 meters from the sea and completely immersed in nature, sea in the front and jungle with monkeys at the back.

Lisca Beach Glamping is also a coffee shop, restaurant, bar and pizza open daily from 9am to 9pm.

The space
The tent is built above a deck, has a 180 degree sea view and jungle in the back.

A private garden with 2 deckchairs and a comfortable hammock are included in the tent rental.

The tent is made of canvas with a zip door and 4 zip windows, each opening has mosquito nets.

The tent has a large queen bed with pillows and bed linens, 2 small table lamps, electrical outlets, floor fan, a small cabinet with two drawers.
The room is 20 square meters, 250cm high in the center and 60cm high on the sides.

The tent has a deck that lead to the private bathroom that is just next to the tent, the bathroom has a cement floor and a traditional Thai roof made with wood and tiles.

The bathroom is simple with a hot shower made of local bamboo, sink, toilet and a view on the jungle from the shower.

Towels, shampoo and bath soap are provided.

The tent is immersed in the nature and is part of Lisca Beach a well known Italian / Thai restaurant, pizzeria, café, bar located in Koh Chang National Park; it is a real tropical getaway.

Koh Chang is one of Thailand's most beautiful islands; despite its increase in development and tourism in the past decade or so, it has retained its remote and rugged character. The nearest village is only 5 min walk from the tent, Bailan is a traditional Thai village with little shops, massage, scoter rental, restaurants and is not as busy as other villages in Koh Chang.

From jungle covered mountain peaks to sweeping bays and untouched islands, Koh Chang archipelago has plenty to offer for everyone. The island is also home to a wide range of wildlife, including a good selection of birds and monkeys.

We have just 4 tents, 3 are available for our guests and we live on the 4th.
Each tent is named after a Thai flower, this tent is Mali.

All the tents have private bathroom and face the sea, the tent shown in this page is exactly the tent you will rent.

Lisca Beach offers a peaceful beachfront retreat, where you can stay in a beautiful tent with a private bathroom, surrounded by tropical nature, and enjoy an incredible variety of delicious Thai and Italian cuisine and drinks.

Other things to note
Breakfast is not included in the rental cost so you can decide day by day, breakfast is served starting from 9am.

You can arrive since the morning, take a swim, enjoy our beach, relax in the sun beds or in the deck chairs, shower and order Thai food, pizza, Italian coffee and drinks from our restaurant, our beach restaurant is open from 9am to 9pm, I advice to get to the ferry port not later than 5pm.

Me, my husband and our staff live on site 24/7, our beach is very secluded, safe and there have never been any thefts. We never lock our tents or the restaurant, we don't even have a safebox. If you prefer to lock the tent please bring your own small padlock for the zipper closures.

On the opposite side of the beach there is a 4 star hotel "Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway", sometimes they do fire show with music and our guests can enjoy the performance.

When northerly winds prevail the sound of music from "Lonely Beach" (approximately 2 kms away) may be heard. If you are a light sleeper this may be bothersome.

If you need to do laundry or rent a scooter there are many places 5 min walk from your tent in Bailan village.

Koh Chang is home for a wide variety of wildlife that has been here since long time (much more than humans). Most of them are listed on Koh Chang Nature – a collaborative project to identify and monitor the land and marine wildlife of Koh Chang Island.

Depending on the time of the year the tide excursion can be up to 2 meters, in some period the lowest tide is during daytime and this make our bay water very shallow while in other period make our beach very small during the high tide.
