The space
Kovva Cabin is a small but perfectly formed hideaway for two in the Cornish countryside. Situated on the edge of the village you'll be greeted by views across fields to the moors in the distance.

A studio set up, the cabin features a living space with sofa, Smart TV with direct access to Netflix and Amazon Prime as well as on demand service from the BBC etc., dining furniture, built-in wardrobe, gas central heating and a wood burning stove. There's a Google smart speaker on the wall for music, help and advice. Large windows look out into the garden.

The mezzanine bedroom is accessed via a staircase where a comfy kingsize Caspar mattress and pure linen bed sheets should help you enjoy the quiet nights. A Velux roof window looks up into the tree canopy and has a blackout blind. Handy USB charging points are located up there too, along with a wireless lamp to create a warm glow at night. There is limited headroom on the mezzanine and you cannot stand up, but it has a soft wool carpet and enough width to make it a comfortable space to relax in.

The kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday with a gas hob over a Neff electric oven, a toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, and the usual collection of saucepans and utensils you would expect to find, including a cafetière for brewing your morning coffee.

The bathroom has a carved marble basin sat on top of a teak vanity unit, heated towel rail to keep your Egyptian cotton towels warm and dry, a shower and toilet. Faith in Nature shampoo, conditioner and shower gel is provided.

Step out onto the covered deck to enjoy the fresh air in all weather. Outside, you have your own garden with patio furniture and a fire pit to toast marshmallows on. Watch birds play in the trees during the day, bats at dusk, and at night, listen out for owls.

There's a dedicated off-street parking space and room to store your bikes and surfboards.

We also have a beginners surfboard available for guests to borrow - just ask.

Guest access
The whole cabin is yours to enjoy along with a private garden. Access and parking is via our driveway. Pathway lighting shows you the way at night and first thing in the morning.

You can access the cabin using the keybox but one of us will usually meet you upon arrival and show you around.

Other things to note
A good supply of logs and fire starting equipment is supplied for you to enjoy the log burner and firepit. Another stack of logs and kindling can be purchased for £10.

We also have a beginners surfboard available for guests to borrow - just ask.

We have an ironing board and iron you can borrow. Just ask and we’ll bring it over.

Unfortunately we don't accept pets at the cabin, many apologies.

Hi, I’m Julia. I’m married to Matt and have two children. We’ve lived in the lovely village of St Teath for over ten years now, and we never tire of the beautiful views from our windows. We love travelling, tennis, good food and spending time with all the family. I’ve recently completed a three year nutritional therapy diploma and fit in appointments between looking after the kids and running our Kovva Cabin Airbnb.
