Stylish newly built studio space – away from the hustle and bustle of town, yet only 7 minutes drive to downtown Wanaka. This stay has private access away from the main house.
With undercover parking, a deck area, outdoor seating and mountain views towards Mount Gold and Mount Maude, this studio is a cosy, well-equipped space from which to base your Wanaka adventures or simply relax.
Comfortable queen bed, TV, Kitchenette, heat pump and air-conditioning, with tea coffee and milk provided.

The space
This is a newly built and well fitted out studio with an open-plan bedroom living area. It has a kitchenette (small kitchen space with microwave, toaster and kettle - suitable for reheating meals and breakfast/ tea/ coffee making).
You will find all the essentials for a relaxing stay and good base from which to explore Wanaka. There is your own under-cover parking for use adjacent to the studio. The studio has a comfortable queen bed, outdoor seating, a breakfast table and a 32" TV.
There is a heatpump to keep you nice and warm in winter, and airconditioning to keep you cool on those hot summer days. The french doors can also be completely opened up to provide a nice indoor/ outdoor flow. There is a shade sail up in summer months over the deck.
There is a separate laundry for your use with new washer and dryer.

Location has a country feel, yet it is located just 5 minutes walk from the Clutha River, great walking tracks, grocery store, restaurant and café. It is approximately a 7 minute drive to downtown Wanaka. The evening sunsets and night sky are beautiful from this location.

During your stay

Our family lives on the same property in a separate home. Check in is via the studio's own lockbox, so you may come and go privately. We will give you your space but enjoy meeting guests should you want to chat or have any questions about Wanaka or the accommodation. We have a busy household with three young children however we are available at most times to help via AirBnB message.
