Langham House sits at the foot of the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds designated as an area of natural beauty.
The cottage has 2 acres of land surrounding it for relaxation, wildlife watching, games and sports, stargazing or simply relaxing. There is car parking for several.
The cottage has a large dining kitchen , utility room, cosy sitting room with wood burner and 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people. There is 1 bathroom with large shower.
Outside you will find ample seating and gas BBQ. .
The space
Claxby is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
You will find an enormous amount to do in the area, whether you choose to visit the coast, walk the Viking way, visit historic Lincoln or Cadwell Park for motor cycle racing. There are many pretty villages with excellent pubs in the area as well as bustling market towns such as Louth or, for those of you who are antique hunters, Horncastle. Helmswell antique centre and the Sunday car boot/market is a short 15 minute drive away. While you’re staying, why not visit the fishing heritage museum in Grimsby or cross the Humber bridge for a visit to ‘The Deep’ aquarium in Hull. Local clay pigeon shooting is available as well as local catering services if you fancy an evening off from cooking. There are numerous take away establishments in nearby Market Rasen and Caistor. You will find two supermarkets in Market Rasen, which is a 10 minute drive away. You can also arrange for supermarkets to deliver to the cottage.
You may bring two well behaved dogs with you who should stay in the kitchen/utility room areas only.
There is a key safe at the property.
Check in is 3pm. Check out by 10am.
Please be aware that there are areas of uneven ground and low walls outside and children should be supervised at all times. The old barn on site is securely sealed and access is not permitted inside. There are clear warning signs on the barn alerting guests to this. All other areas of the site are available for the use of guests.
Additional extras include the use of a large gas barbecue, large outdoor dining table with parasol, sun lounger, garden bench, fire pit, children’s swings and plenty of buckets and spades for seaside visits.
