Tane's place was very spacious and holds a lot of people. it's not the Ritz, but it felt like home and the price was very reasonable. worked perfect seeing we weren't there very often, out catching the sites... I would stay there again if on that island in the future...

This location is pretty large, can hold a bunch of people, and is set right in the jungle which was really amazing. The deck was great, we loved sitting there and listening to the birds, and there was a bunch of beach items like a cooler and snorkel mask and boogie boards which …

Response from Tane:
This is an excellent description of the home and farm and should help ensure that this the right sort of place for you. Many people looking for this experience find it perfect. If living in a rural home is new to you and you like being in a fancy setting then you might not enjoy being here. For some people hearing frogs and chickens is refreshing for others annoying. The next major renovation is the bathroom and it is planned for this summer.

Pros: Big rambling spacious older house. Surrounded by all kinds of flora. Host is responsive and responsible. Cons: Funky. Chipped paint and broken tiles. Older curtains, mismatched silverware etc. Not for sensitive sleepers. Birds chirp, neighboring dogs bark, the water…

Tane was a wonderfully kind host, and his getaway up on the tropical farm oasis was exactly what I was looking for in a meditative retreat. Picking fresh oranges and papayas right from the front of the house was an experience I will never forgot--nor will I forget the beautiful o…
