Front Range A-frame is just 60 minutes from Denver, Colorado. Designed to provide you with a quick escape from city life. Relax on the large front deck among the ponderosa pines while the deer roam nearby or soak in the cedar hot tub while watching the stars. Bailey is central to so many great trails, rivers, and Rocky Mountain experiences.

The space
We've thoughtfully designed this cabin with modern appliances and a dash of vintage style.

The a-frame has 2 large bedrooms upstairs, each with a comfortable queen bed. There is also one additional twin bed included in one of the rooms.

Downstairs: a fully stocked kitchen, open living room with a gas fireplace, a cozy tv room, and a bathroom with a shower, no tub.

The a-frame is a great launching point for outdoor adventures. The neighborhood itself offers fishing at the stocked lake (seasonal/requires a day pass) and easy access to a world-class disc golf course.

To help you explore the area, we'll happily provide you with recommendations and some basic gear to use during your stay. There are gear rental shops nearby in Bailey and Conifer. If you prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery from the cabin, we have a front deck with cozy furniture and a fire pit, horseshoes, a picnic table, and cedar hot tub. The cabin is stocked with unique puzzles, books, and games for indoor days.

ECO-FRIENDLY: We're doing our best to be as eco-friendly as possible. That includes the two-night minimum to help reduce the number of off-site laundry loads. All soaps and toiletries are eco-friendly. All lights are LED. Learn more about what we're doing in the welcome packet and at @frontrangeaframe.

WIFI, STREAMING, AND PHONE RECEPTION: The cabin uses the only WIFI available for the area at this time. It works great most of the time, but it occasionally gets a little spotty. We're hopeful the neighborhood will have fiber internet by winter 2022. Cell reception ranges depending on your carrier. Verizon is especially spotty.

LOCATION + NEIGHBORS: The a-frame is located within a rural neighborhood. We have neighbors and don't promise complete silence or seclusion.

PARKING AND WINTER CONDITIONS: The road leading to the a-frame is plowed all winter, but the A's driveway is dirt. We do our best to maintain it, but you could encounter snowy conditions in the winter. An all-wheel or a 4WD vehicle is highly recommended from Oct-April. Colorado weather can be unpredictable. We do not provide last-minute refunds due to the weather. Please consider trip insurance if you think you might need to cancel last minute.

FIRES: Due to the dry climate here in Colorado, charcoal grills and outdoor fire pits are never available or permitted. Open fires and fireworks are will result in a fine and eviction. Enjoy the indoor fireplace or propane fire pit on the front porch instead.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home-cooked meal; this includes basic cooking amenities (oils and seasonings). Please note that the oven and the freezer are a tad smaller than the average size.

CABIN LIFE: While it looks new, the a-frame has an old soul. Built-in the 60s, it does have a few old cabin quirks: like a bathroom on a different floor than the bedrooms and no air conditioning (which is pretty common in Colorado). While staying in the mountains, you could also encounter wildlife, bugs, and snowstorms. Please consider whether cabin life is right for you before booking. We do not provide refunds due to old cabin quirks or mountain living.

CHILDREN: We welcome kiddos, but please note that the cabin has not been child-proofed. It is at your discretion to determine whether the a-frame is a good fit for your family.

PET ALLERGIES: As our rules mention, we do not allow pets (sorry!). However, we can't guarantee a completely pet-free home as we do welcome service animals, and have our own dog who stays rarely but occasionally.

Where you’ll be

Bailey, Colorado, United States

The a-frame is located in a neighborhood, so we don't promise complete seclusion or silence as we do have neighbors. We kindly ask that you respect our awesome neighbor(s).

Bailey, Colorado is close to so many fun outdoor adventures.
There's a neighborhood-stocked fishing lake (Day passes are $15 for adults/$5 for kids), a popular disc golf course, Mount Bailey trail, and a playground, all just a short distance from the cabin.

Drive Guanella or Kenosha Pass (a must-see in the autumn). Hike or mountain bike Buffalo Creek. Enjoy world-class fishing in Deckers. Enjoy the gorgeous Pine Valley Ranch lake or Wellington lake. Climb, hike or bike at Staunton State Park (one of our favorite places).

There is a Treehouse Adventure Park, Mad Jack's Brewery, Aspen Peak Cellars, and the legendary Coney Island is within driving distance.

The cabin is only 2.7 miles from the Deer Creek Valley Ranch venue and an 8-minute drive to downtown Bailey.

You'll find plenty of recommendations at @frontrangeaframe or message us with questions!

During your stay

We respect your privacy and do not plan to be onsite during your stay. If the a-frame gets more than 4+ inches of snow and you think you might need a plow, reach out and we'll do our best to take care of that for you.

Please note: On Monday hot tub maintenance swings by.
On Tuesday a local teen brings the trash cans down to the street in the morning and then back up in the evening.

We look forward to hosting you!
