Family friendly, airy and bright one floor house with large back yard. Walkable to East Hampton Village (1 mile) and the famous Main Beach (1.7 mile) on quiet back roads. Perfect location for easy access to East Hampton, Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor! Partially fenced, private grass yard, 2 patio areas, and new outdoor shower- nestled in a quiet neighborhood. PLEASE NOTE there is a strict NO SMOKING policy anywhere on the property (inside or outside).

The space
Family friendly East Hampton Village house nestled just 1.3 miles from Main Street. You can walk to town on quiet back roads right to Main Street, the train station or the Hampton Jitney stop in about a 20 minutes. You can also walk to the famous Main Beach in about 25 minutes, just 1.7 miles away.

Our 2100 sq foot home has four bedrooms and 2 baths (plus a newly renovated 1/2 bath and laundry room which will be complete by 5/15/21). For cooler months, there are two wood burning fireplaces to keep you cozy. For summer months, the house has central air.

The master bedroom has king bed, large walk-in closet and freshly renovated bath en-suite. The master bath has a walk-in shower and marble topped vanity with a single sink. Our second bedroom has a queen bed with a desk- great private space for working or remote schoolwork. The third and fourth bedrooms each have a twin bed and one includes a desk. The guest bath in the hall has a shower/tub combo and a large double vanity.

The kitchen is simple and freshly updated with a breakfast nook for 4 overlooking the backyard. It comes fully stocked with anything you might need to cook or entertain at home. Adjoining the kitchen is a family room with large sliding glass doors that fill the space with sunshine. The family room has working fireplace and small TV.

In the front of the house is an airy dining room which comfortably seats 6-8 and opens into the living room. The living room has a second wood-burning fireplace and large TV. The cabinets are stocked with games and toys for young children. Our mudroom has a large capacity washer and dryer.

For families with young children, we have a pack and play with a mattress and sheets, a high chair, and cups, plates and silverware for children.

The spacious backyard is partially fenced- great for letting kids play. There are two brick patio areas with loungers and umbrellas and a dining area with umbrella.

Our neighborhood is very quiet- we have a great market, Red Horse Market less than half a mile from the house, open year-round. We often bike or walk to Red Horse to grab coffee and a breakfast pastry!
Two of the most popular vineyards, Wolffer Estate and Channing Daughters, are within 10 minutes of the home, along with bay and ocean beaches a short 10 minute drive away.

Friday mornings are a great time to spend at the East Hampton Farmers market down at Nick and Tony's Restaurant in the parking lot. There is also a very large park with playground, basketball court, and tennis courts- all for public use within 2 miles of our home.

PLEASE NOTE - there is a STRICT NO SMOKING policy anywhere on the property (inside or outside). Any evidence of smoking will result in a forfeiture of your security deposit. Please note that we also request observation of our checkout procedures and failure to do so can incur up to a $175 charge.

East Hampton, New York, United States

Our neighborhood is a quiet road where you will see many walkers out for a stroll. We grew up in this house and have known many of the neighbors for quite a long time.

I was fortunate to grow up in the lovely Hamptons and moved to Delaware to attend the University of Delaware. Twenty-five plus years later, I am still in Delaware (with my husband, two teenagers and a dog), but am fortunate to be able to return to my favorite place, East Hampton, and stay in the home I grew up in. My husband and I both have our roots in the Hamptons and visit whenever we can, as well as seeing as much of the rest of the world as possible!
