The location of this place is amazing! Tonsai area is entirely surrounded by beautiful limestone cliffs. However, beauty comes with a price. You have to go through these cliffs or get a longtail boat to get around to the other beaches (Railay, etc). The accommodation is seriousl…

Hello, thank you so much for your in depth review! You made some really valid points and I have taken on your feedback. I am sorry your sink didn't work, I wish you had gone to reception and informed them so we could of fixed it for you or switched your room. Sadly we cant do anything if we don't know about it, the same said for the blanket. We usually uses nice duvets so this does surprise me. We will definitely look in to hooks and maybe a table but we do prefer to keep it very simple. The mattress again are usually well complimented but yes they can get worn down so will be due renewal. Thank you again for your review

Chillout is a place for those who are adventurous and would not mind cold showers and hanging out in a natural habitat. Be prepared to walk through muds and rough sands, as well as arm yourself with insect repellent and traveling light helps (a backpack is the best actually) T…

Hi Emma, thank you for your review. I hope you enjoyed your stay. With low season monsoons it has made things muddy. I see they are slowly trying to improve the path way in front of resort and down to the beach. In terms of building work there is not much happening as yet but they are clearing ready too. But with thai time who knows. If the advice is followed and a boat from Ao nang to Tonsai is taken then the walk to us is easy. Straight up from the beach and follow the wall. Hope you enjoy your travels :-)

If you wanna experience living in a jungle hut, I highly recommend this place. The electricity only runs 6pm - 6 am and the phone signal is almost non existent, but this experience was great. There were bugs and the bathroom was almost always wet (shower situation) but it was a f…

I really enjoyed my stay at chill out! The guys in the bar are completely crazy joking around, really nice vibe and I met loads of fun people during my stay. Lot's of things to do around, nice restaurants and a yoga place. The mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable though so…

Thank you for your review, we are glad you had a good time with us. Yes the monkeys do jump on the roofs, but as you said its all part of the jungle experience. We do not offer cleaning in the rooms, whilst you are staying with us, but if you had asked at reception, we would of been able to do it for you. Yes unfortunately there is only one path to the beach, as the owners of the land, put up the wall. This is only a 5 minute walk. There are a few ladders along the wall, for you to climb over and walk through the jungle to the beach. If we could, we would take the wall down. Thanks again and welcome back anytime.

There was a pretty good balance between tourist-y things and local culture, and there were plenty of good restaurants to choose from. The Tonsai beach was nice, but a bit rocky. The beach at Rai Ley was nicer I thought, so I was glad it was only a 5 minute walk. The bungalows we…

Thank you Andrew for your nice review, we are glad you enjoyed your time with us. We are basic, but the jungle vibe is very relaxed. Yes i would not recommend leaving food in the bungalows either. Due to the animals in the jungle. Thank you and welcome back anytime.
