A tiny modern room in a 4 bed detached house free of clutter to help guests relax. Located in a quiet private cul-de-sac. No pets, carpets or curtains for allergy sufferers.

A tiny room (not enough room for a desk) with a single bed (soft mattress), large double wardrobe, chest of drawers, under-bed storage, bedside light, wifi.

Full use of the shared kitchen, lounge & bathroom.

Excellent transport links by road, rail & bus, easy parking. Several shops, takeaways & restaurants nearby.

The space
The room is in a new build house that is quiet and uncluttered for a minimalist unfussy feel, with oak flooring and white walls. There is a shared bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and sink (as well as a separate downstairs toilet and sink). The room has a soft single bed, large double wardrobe with coat hangers and shelves for clothes, chest of 5 small drawers, bedside light, bedside table, under-bed storage containers, wifi and a hook for coats or bathrobes. It is south facing so bright during the day and double glazed, well insulated with adjustable central heating radiator for the winter.

I've been an Airbnb Superhost ever since my first assessment over 5 years ago. Being a Superhost involves having excellent reviews and providing the best experience I can for my guests. I am assessed every 3 months and have passed every assessment. In May 2021 I was selected as one of the top Superhosts to work as an Airbnb Superhost Ambassador helping new hosts create their listings and mentoring them on their Airbnb journey. Since then I've been connected with over 700 new hosts with all manner of questions which has given me a good understanding of the Airbnb platform. No matter how much I think I know there's always something to learn.

My passions are art, music, photography and travel. I have travelled to over 40 countries and always want to learn as much as I can about other cultures, ways of life and attitudes. Photography is the best way for me to remember the special moments and new experiences in each trip so I'm always within reach of at least one camera. As well as the usual tourist activities I like to visit areas away from the tourists, to eat where the locals eat and to try and get the feel for everyday life in each country.

Purchasing my house gave me the chance to learn practical skills such as installing wood and stone flooring, designing room acoustics and developing home automation software. I'm hoping to finally learn to play guitar properly and to experiment with acrylic and oil painting so these more creative pursuits are my goals for next year.

During your stay

I am normally within 15 minutes drive of the house and I'm there to tidy and check everything is ok on a regular basis but I'm not there 24 hours. I am generally quick to respond to any queries over airbnb messaging and can normally come over for any emergencies.
