Enjoy Old Portland charm in this historic Craftsman located in the hip FoPo neighborhood. Situated on a corner lot on a quiet street, you'll be close to all the action on Foster, Mt. Scott park and local favorite Latin food cart pod the Mercado, and 15 minutes to downtown. Spacious and bright with huge south-facing windows and charming original details, amazing front porch, backyard and upstairs balcony. Carefully curated local and vintage art, furniture, and treasures--including a clawfoot tub!

The space
You'll love stepping into the front room with 10 foot cove ceilings, original craftsman wood details, and a beautiful stained-glass window. Enjoy lounging and listening to records on the first floor--the living room is bright and cozy, and flows directly into the plant-filled dining room. The recently renovated kitchen is right off the dining room (the gas stove and oven are a dream). There is also a bedroom/office downstairs with a new, extremely comfortable Tuft & Needle mattress, and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Upstairs has three more bedrooms: an office in the center, a huge bedroom with a new, queen-sized foldout couch and 50 inch TV, and a medium-sized bedroom with another TV and Tuft & Needle mattress, and charming balcony that looks onto the backyard. Guests will appreciate the curated art and vintage furniture collection--and all the personality and character of this historic home.

Guest access
Make yourself at home! You can use pretty much the whole house, and if the weather agrees, all outdoor areas. Please don't enter the garage.

The only exceptions inside the house: please don't go into the upstairs bedroom/office closets. (But please do access the linens and other items in the upstairs hall closet). Please don't go in the basement unless you need to do laundry.

Other things to note
This is an old house (112 years and counting!) and has some quirks. If it's cold out, you should assume that the upstairs will be cooler than downstairs. We have 2 space heaters that you can use, and they will keep upstairs rooms as warm as you want.

Location

Portland, Oregon, United States

We are in the Foster-Powell neighborhood (FoPo) in Southeast Portland, right off Foster, which is one of Portland's hippest areas with many incredible places to go for food, bars, cafes, and cute eclectic shops. Just a few miles to some of the most popular, happening spots on Division, Clinton, and Hawthorne. Downtown is only 15 minutes away by car, or you can walk a mile and get on the Max to go anywhere in the city.
