We're 25 minutes from Natchitoches on Black Lake. We are in a secluded area of a dead end road. Enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by Spanish moss covered trees. Under the covered front porch, you'll find comfortable seating with great views of the lake. The large windows provide lake views and let in plenty of natural light. Spend the day in town shopping or enjoying a festival. Return home to relax with a meal on the grill or a glass of wine with friends around the firepit.

The space
The cabin has a huge master bedroom with a king size bed. The living area also includes a sleeping nook with a queen size daybed and full size trundle. There is a sectional sofa and dining table that provide plenty of seating for everyone. We have a coffee bar that is a favorite with guests. We offer a fully stocked kitchen. Stream your favorite Netflix and Amazon Prime shows or movies in the living room and bedroom.

Tisha is an Indiana native. Chad was born in Guam, raised in Arizona, Texas and Indiana. He has a Bachelor's Degree for Indiana University in Computer Science.

Some of the countries we have traveled to are England, Netherlands, Spain, Canada, Costa Rica, Peru, Belize and Mexico.

We have three adult children. We are loving our new stage of life as empty nesters.

In May of 2021 we sold our home in Indiana to become fulltime Nomads traveling, camping, cycling and hiking around the USA. Tisha has a goal to get to every national park in the US. Chad has done an Ironman, ridden a mountain bike from Banff, Canada to the US/Mexico border along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route and recently completed his first ultra marathon.

We are into slow food and craft beverages, music and movies.
