Lovely private studio room in luxury home "The Lookout", overlooking the Leschenault inlet. Private, modern en-suite bathroom and tastefully decorated bedroom opening out onto deck and plunge pool ( heated in winter). This will be your own private oasis while you are here. Feel free to relax on the deck or take your bottle of wine and glasses around to the front verandah of the house to take in the estuary views and the magnificent sunsets. The room is well lit and a quiet restful retreat.

The space
"The Lookout" is my very modern three level home overlooking the entire Leschenault Inlet and only 10 minutes drive to Bunbury. Your Studio Guestroom accomodation is located at the back of the house (2nd level but ground floor) and is accessed via it’s own separate sliding door entry.
A short passage way connects it to the rest of the house where I reside.

You will have your own oasis beyond the guest room with the deck and plunge pool area at your disposal to use between hours of 7.30am - 8.30pm.
You can also walk around the house and use the verandah for estuary views and sunsets. ( there is some traffic noise at the front).
The area is 1km walking distance to the Australind village for supplies or for my frequent haunt ‘Benesse’ which is a great coffee shop and lunch destination. If you walk across the road to the estuary , the coffee van parks there every morning. There is a walking and cycle track which is just lovely in either direction along the estuary. Less than 1 km down Eastwell road is the Collie River where there is a boat ramp or you can walk along the river as far as the Collie Bridge. The round trip is 8.5kms .
Bunbury and it’s restaurants and sights are a 15 minute drive and the newly opened Treendale farm Hotel a 5 minute drive.
20 minutes to Ferguson Valley for a winery or long lunch.

Your studio room includes:
Queen size bed, linen supplied.
Wifi and Smart TV,
Complimentary tea/coffee milk and sugar.
Plastic ware for inside the pool area.
Cutlery, glassware and dishware, tea towel and dish washing liquid
Kettle, toaster and small bar fridge and small microwave oven. Iron and ironing board in the BIR.
Heating/airconditioning.
The ensuite is equipped with the following:
shampoo and conditioner, shower gel
hairdryer
Bath towels and pool towels.
Small table with two chairs for dining and a cane chair for relaxing in.
In the pool area an outdoor lounge and 1 sun lounge with padded cushion.

Location

Australind, Western Australia, Australia

Our neighbourhood revolves around the Leschenault inlet which provides us with magnificent views both summer and winter. Watching people enjoying the public space on the estuary, whether they are walking the paths, parked at the waters edge enjoying a coffee or a bottle of wine watching the sunset, or crabbing with their scoop nets. In windy times the kite surfers are out in full force. A short walk to "The Village" Australind for coffee shops and amenities.
It is convenient and friendly, with coastal town feel to it. Not overflowing with tourists during holidays you can live like a local and enjoy what is on offer right on the doorstep.

Hi, I’m a professional person with 3 adult sons and their partners and a grandson close by. I enjoy keeping house, reading and sunshine, in my spare time. Have also been a lover of travel in better times. Travelling Australia in our caravan is the next bucket list item. Australind is a beautiful place to live, the cafes of Bunbury are close, and we have some wonderful areas for walking, cycling ( and running) along the estuary and also the river, all easily accessible from my home. Im generally very busy with my work as a Podiatrist but hope to slowly work less and enjoy time to myself more.
