The Sap Chapel Cottage is a quiet and safe place surrounded by nature. Complimentary Fresh eggs from our girls and homespun maple syrup for all guests!
Settle in and enjoy a brisk hike through the woods or explore the Clarksburg Falls & 18 Mile Creek. Excellent trout fishing downstream at Kromer's Mill and just a 10 minute drive to Clear Lake reservoir for a quick canoe day trip (we have a canoe and extra fishing poles to share!)

The space
The cottage is about 750 sqft with a master bedroom w/queen bed and a loft with 2 twin beds. Modern appliances including dishwasher, washer and dryer, fridge ft ice maker, electric range and built-in microwave. All the pots and pans are new and in very good condition, tableware for 6, and if you need something more just ask!. We also provide a pantry stocked with hot and cold cereals, Bisquick, oils, seasonings, teas, coffees for Kureg and standard maker, hot cocoa, pasta, sauce, soups, Tang etc. Also, Culligan Spring water is provided for drinking water. The fridge will have a pint of milk, fresh eggs from our hens, a stick of butter and a few cold beverages. We try to provide enough so you don't have to run out the store first thing in the morning.
We strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. In addition to fresh linens we wash all blankets and comforters in between visits. I’ve stayed at other BnB’s and was shocked to discover this is not always done.
You also are provided with our very own internationally adored home made maple syrup!

During your stay

We make a point of greeting our guests upon arrival and help them to get acquainted/familiarized with our home.
I try to check in once a day, (usually by text or when our paths cross outside) to make certain our guests are comfortable and content.
When time allows, my son and I enjoy giving guided tours -the nearby water falls, our SapChapel maple syrup production facility, a brisk hike up the ravines or an inspection of our miles of sap lines
