Beautiful newly refurbished converted barn in Middle Duntisbourne, near Cirencester, within the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty

The space
The Old House Barn is a traditional Cotswold stone barn, dating back to the 17th century, recently refurbished to a high standard. There is an open plan living area with double height ceilings and beautiful exposed oak beams, incorporating a fully - equipped kitchen with cooking range, washing machine/ dryer, dish washer and fridge freezer. The living area provides a comfortable area to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the spectacular surroundings, with a large smart TV and log burner. There is high speed WiFi.

There are 2 bedrooms, one of which is a spacious area situated on a mezzanine level above the open plan area of the barn, and the other in the cosy setting under the mezzanine area.

Where you’ll be

England, United Kingdom

The hamlet of Middle Duntisbourne is one of four villages which comprise the Duntisbournes running alongside the valley of the Dunt Stream, with lots of stone walling, rolling hills and walkways, situated just north of Cirencester (the old Roman town which is the capital of the Cotswolds).

It provides an ideal base from which to explore the Cotswolds and is a popular area for both walkers (Macmillan Way is on our doorstep) and cyclists.

Middle Duntisbourne itself is a rural hamlet and the nearest shops and pubs are easily accessible by car. There are plenty of superb pubs in the area, and it is a 25 minute drive to Cheltenham, which offers a wide array of restaurants, bars and shops, and a 15 minute drive to Cirencester, a traditional thriving market town.
