Bella Nido "meaning beautiful nest" is a warm cottage style home nestled in the heart of downtown Lake Charles. Inviting, comfortable furnishings and chic decor. The large rooms, high ceiling and hardwood floors with large windows in every room make for a welcoming, airy atmosphere. The home is conveniently arranged to allow for private areas or open for gathering w/ family and friends. Short drive or walk to downtown restaurants, events, shopping, casinos. Make it your home while in town.

The space
Cottage style home built in 1936 and located in the historic district of downtown Lake Charles. Hear the beautiful church bells ring from the Church of the Good Shepherd located across the street. Designed by noted Dallas architect C.W. Bulger in the Gothic Revival style of architecture, it was built of stone in 1896. The front porch is a great area for watching the neighborhood activity or the fenced backyard is great for enjoying a private moment outside. Inside the home, the open floor plan is designed to enjoy gathering with the group or areas that can be closed for private work or relaxation. While the home has been updated, the warm original features have been left to appreciate.
