Surrounded by green hills and breathtaking nature, this holiday home with an outdoor pool is located in a small traditional settlement in the wine-growing region near the small Dalmatian town of Imotski.
The beautiful beaches and bays of the Makarska Riviera can be reached in 20 minutes by car, the natural beauties of the Red and Blue Lakes and numerous other swimming lakes, springs, rivers and canyons in just 10 minutes.

The space
The holiday home with three floors and a terraced outdoor area was built by my grandparents and over the last three years it was completely renovated and furnished with great attention to detail, using mostly recycled materials.

On the middle floor is the main terrace with swimming pool and outside shower that are protected from prying eyes, and the spacious, light-flooded apartment with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. The open floor plan with a large dining and living area and balcony offers an uninterrupted view of the green valley. The house is partly built into the mountain and there is a pleasant indoor climate even on hot days.

Various places around the house invite you to linger:
Whether stone lounging area in the palm shade with a view over the pool, hammock under cherry trees or directly above the pool, bistro chairs in the small herb garden with a little barbecue house, non-swimmer area and water lounging area with massage nozzles, hanging rocking chair next to the fig tree or deck chairs under the awning on the large balcony - there is at anytime of the day a sunny or shady place to relax.

The idyllic location in the hinterland of the Adriatic coast and the mountain range of the Biokovo nature park makes this holiday home ideal for nature lovers, those seeking relaxation, active vacationers, sun worshipers, water rats and connoisseurs; with family or friends away from mass tourism.

- Quiet holiday home with 75 square meters of living space all to yourself. The upper and lower floors of the house are not inhabited.
- Total sleeping space for 4 people. If required, additional cot and high chair are available.
- The fig bedroom can be optionally equipped with double or single beds.
- Cistern under the house with drinking quality rainwater that supplies the house and the garden.
- Fruits and herbs from the garden around the house for free self-service.
- Thorough pool cleaning by arrangement 1-2 times a week included (May-October).

In our small village with many children, life mainly takes place on the street in the evenings when it cools down a little. A boccia / boules court with benches, a small soccer field with a playground and a basketball hoop are only 100m from the house.
There are also some dogs, cats, chickens, pigs and goats on the neighboring properties. The villagers are very hospitable and are always happy to have a conversation using hands and feet or a private tour of the neighborhood, forests and vineyards.

- Every morning at 9:30 a.m., a baker's van sells traditional bread right in front of the house.
- On request, fresh eggs and seasonal fruit and vegetables can be supplied directly from the field.
- Other local products such as wine, rakija, olive oil, goat cheese and other goodies on request.
- Garage with washing machine in the house and 2 parking spaces next to an old millstone in front of the house.

The small town of Imotski with its historic town center and the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina are 10-15 minutes away by car.
The cities of Split or Mostar can each be reached in an hour by car and are worthwhile day trips.
