As part of the Viking Hill Hostel, this flamboyant, 1 bedroom studio captures the Bahamian, island flare with its bright, eye-catching colour palette. The open ceiling gives way to vibrant blue beams that glow above the queen sized bed and flatscreen tv.

The space
The kitchenette is equipped with a two burner gas stove, microwave, coffee machine and mini-fridge. Our guests also have access to all of the other facilities located on the property including the shared laundry room.

Overlooking the turquoise waters of the Bahamian Sea, is a spacious outdoor patio and pool area that is equipped with an array of lounge chairs and umbrellas to shade you from the searing afternoon heat. Beach bums looking to feel some sand beneath their feet are able to cross the street and enjoy the mile long beach that stretches along the coastline. The beaches in-front of the home are natural, untouched and always changing. As a result, the beaches frequently change from rocky bottom to soft white sand as you stroll along the coast making it the perfect place to find hidden treasures.

After a long day of lounging in the sun, head further East for a night out on the town and explore Nassau's lively hotels and casinos that are complete with countless restaurants, bars, clubs, live music and other forms of entertainment. During the day, visit the downtown area and stroll through the countless stores, museums, and more.

The cottage is located on the Western side of New Providence and shares the property with 10 other cottages, as well as a hostel. The pool deck and garden are shared between all of the guests staying on the property. The beach can be accessed by means of crossing the road at the foot of the property which is equivalent to a short 2 minute walk. Two restaurants, Travelers Rest and Coco Cabana, are located a 5 minute walk away. Guests are able to walk along the beach road and enjoy a hearty meal and some live music in the evenings.
