Welcome to Utanskog and a peaceful home close to wild nature.

Only 5 km bike friendly road to Docksta and Skuleberget, hubs for the World Heritage High Coast.

Here you can choose between the silence of the farm and in the forest, or kitty outdoor life in the World Heritage sites.

Our house is simple but with all the amenities, decorated with eco-friendly choices.
The garden is designed according to permiculture principles to an edible visitor garden.

The space
The house was built in 1937 by Emma's great-grandfather, and is carefully renovated to match the 2020s.

The bedrooms have new clamping paper on the walls and wooden floors, we love the quiet materials.

In the master bedroom there is a double bed, closet and beautiful views. In the small bedroom a single bed and garden view.

In the kitchen, there is the funkis interior by the kitchen sink, but we have added an electric stove and dishwasher to have time to live a little as well. If you have your own wood, you can burn in the "spar stove" in the kitchen for cozy extra warmth and the creaky of burning wood. The dining area has four chairs but it is also possible to push the table closer to the kitchen sofa for more seating. The view from both kitchen and chamber, the living room, is amazing.

In addition there is a sofa, table and two armchairs. In the bookshelf we have collected books with local anchoring and tips on excursions. A desk with lighting can also be used. There is wifi and good coverage for the mobile phone. There's no TV.

A room in the house is being renovated and is not available for rent.

The garden is currently being renovated according to permaculture principles and based on local traditions for the cultural landscape that we find ourselves in. This means that everything is planned on the basis of a sentence and with regard to natural cycles and resource management.

There are wild forest raspberries growing up on the slopes and currant bushes and blueberry bushes closer to the house. We also develop a food forest along a slope, where newly planted apple trees and plums are first out. Along the house wall, a strawberry discount grows more each season. We prefer to hit me with a scythe. The hay we give to rabbits, it is enough for our own and to the shelters for abandoned rabbits.
