The island is a very unique place to live. Not only is the island visually beautiful, with its stunning beaches and wildlife, but it is unique in its approach to life.

Islanders are generally very friendly and enjoy talking to visitors and hearing their story. We move at a different pace of life to those on the mainland, making it a perfect place to visit for a relaxing break.

In addition to the above, our culture is intertwined in all of us and we are proud to be Celtic in origin and also lean heavily on our Christian background, meaning Sundays are unique in that everything closes and life stops for a day a week.
