Gorgeous shared space--the room with the atrium is even more beautiful and cozy in person than in pictures. The whole house has an interesting design and has a great "natural" feel, including the bathroom. The room I occupied looked a bit larger in the photographs but was comfortable nonetheless. Karen made us delicious banana bread for breakfast. A lot of nice little personal touches. They also have a beautiful cat. There are quiet hours, so that is something to be aware of when planning a trip (was not a problem for me).

We stayed at Karen and Larry's house during the CrossFit Games hosted in Madison. We really enjoyed our stay and Karen and Larry made us feel very much at home. Even though we were not around as much, Karen was really helpful and thoughtful at the times we were; providing (great) breakfasts, snacks and restaurant recommendations. It was really nice meeting Karen and Larry! The house/room is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect for our stay. It was very easy to get downtown(5min) and get to Madison (20min). The neighboorhood looked really nice and even though we did not have time for it, Karen told us it is nice to walk around. We would love to stay here again sometime and highly recommend this stay to other travelers.

Karen and Larry's Organic Oasis "Nature Nook" is exactly as it is pictured - spacious, beautiful, with great energy and ambience. We instantly felt at home in their home and that is definitely a testament to the hosts' being so personable and good-natured. The atrium is wonderful, full of plants and sunlight and the grounds have a ton of Wisconsin native flowers and plants, which was a treat to see and smell. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot say enough how great Karen and Larry are!

We loved staying at Karen and Larry's place. Their home is beautiful with plants everywhere. Karen and Larry are very friendly and helpful. Karen treated us to a wonderful breakfast of fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade zucchini bread and mini-omelettes, mangoes and coffee.

Welcome to our home, "The Garden Oasis!" Larry and I have been married for 29 years. I am a retired public school teacher, and Larry works for the University of Wisconsin, School of Education. We love to travel, bike and kayak. We also love to garden which is evident in our beautiful cottage garden.
