FIND OUT WHY CHRISTINA’S IS RANKED #1 IN VIETNAM =)

A simple and cozy loft studio with everything you need, that is centrally located, with endless options for cafes and eateries, yet hidden away in the quiet alley just perfect for a peaceful night of sleep.

The space

Located on the third level of the house, this homey studio is equipped to meet all your needs (refer full list below). The queen-sized bed is topped by a firm but very comfortable mattress and your sleep will only be further enhanced by our soft Egyptian cotton linens. You also have your own kitchenette for making your morning pancakes, and of course, an en-suite bathroom that is perfect for a warm shower after a long hard day. Don’t worry about lighting as the windows bring in plenty of natural light to brighten up your stay. The house kitchen is a quick elevator ride/walk down to the ground floor and the rooftop is just a floor above you. Here you can do you laundry or sit down at the table, surround yourself by potted greenery, and have a beer or read a book as you blend into the Saigon skyline.

Guest access

Unlike many other spaces in Ho Chi Minh City, there is no curfew with us. In addition to having 24/7 access to the house and your studio, you can also use our laundry facilities, rooftop, lounge area, and shared kitchen (on top of your own private kitchenette) at any time of the day! We can even plan a dinner together if you like or have a drink upstairs on the rooftop – it’s a great way to get to know each other and meet other guests. Just make yourself at home =)

Interaction with guests

We respect the privacy of our guests, but are available if there is anything you need help with or even to just hang out and have a beer or a delicious local snack. Some of our team members even live in the premises. Come hang out with us in the common area or send us a message if you don’t see us around.

Other things to note

We highly recommend that you take advantage of Onetrip’s donation-based City Tour run by local university students seeking cultural exchange opportunities with foreign travelers. It is a great way to orient yourself within the city and see all the beautiful landmarks of Saigon. Not to mention, it is a favorite among our guests!

We also offer an Evening Food Tour to fill your tummy up with what we think are the best local yumyums. Other options include the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels Adventure. If interested, do send us a message and we will save you a seat!

Our #1 RULE is to treat our home as if it were your own - unless your home resembles that of a college frat house, in which case think of your grandma’s home instead =P

With that being said, the following rules are implemented out of necessity in order to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

NO SMOKING inside the villa. We have designated outdoor areas for this. Anyone caught smoking inside the property will be charged USD250 as damage fee and simply be asked to leave without any refund.

MUST REGISTER all over-night visitors. This is actually required by the law but is also a good practice to ensure everyone's safety. You will be held completely responsible for any wrongdoing by your guests, including property damages and thefts.

NO SHOES inside the house. We understand this can be an issue for some people, but we're trying to keep the place clean for everyone so we cannot make exceptions since it will not be fair to the other guests.

A SOCIAL ACCOMMODATION - We strive to provide you with a one-of-a-kind experience that is different to what you get at hotels and hostels – something more responsible, more human, and ultimately more valuable. We believe that our mission aligns perfectly well with Airbnb’s community. With that in mind, please do not treat our members or our services like you would at a hotel. If you’re looking for 24/7 room service, we strongly suggest that you book your accommodation elsewhere. But if you’re looking for a chilled out, cozy atmosphere…a home away from home, then by all means book with us =)

HAVE RESPECT for those around you. All of the rules listed above are simply to encourage our guests to be respectful towards one another and together build a better, more social and responsible community.

CONSEQUENCES for breaking these rules can unfortunately result in the offender(s) being asked to leave, in addition to providing compensation for losses or damages caused. We will have complete discretion on whether to offer a refund for the unused portion of the reservation. So far, we have not asked any guest to leave and we would prefer to keep it that way for as long as we can, so please help us keep the friendly streak going :)

Other than that, all that is left to say is that we hope you have a wonderful stay and that you will fall in love with this beautiful city just like we did.

My wife and I stayed at Christina's from 5-8 Aug 2017. Why we love it: Convenient & centralised location- we could walk around most of the time. Otherwise, Uber was cheap and safe to get around. Even though the bnb was central, it was quiet, strategically located in an alley, shielded away from traffic noise. Convenient and near to amenities - a convenience store was just opposite the bnb. Very local Cafe Vy at the street corner serves great coffee. Good food was easy to find. Awesome service - Very very friendly and helpful staff. Always on hand to help, response on airbnb chat is very prompt. They provided an itinerary just for us, and random questions were always answered quickly on airbnb chat. We felt like we had a local guide on call 24/7! Clean and comfortable - the loft was modern, clean and comfortable. Everything you need for travel is there, plus more, like a small cooking area. Love the Honesty fridge concept, you pay what you want for drinks in the fridge. Filtered water was free so that's a nice little touch too. Many channels were available on TV, including cable like HBO. Some areas for improvement: Airport transport - we were advised to take the Song Viet car from the airport. Being first time in Vietnam we didn't want to take our chances, so we did. But after trying out Uber when getting around the city, we found it to be very safe, convenient and cheap. We realised there wasn't a need to pay almost triple for a Song Viet car when Uber will be just as good. Passport - we had to surrender our passports for a night for the hosts to do a mandatory registration at the police station. We were taken by surprise and not comfortable with leaving our passports with the hosts, even though they assured us that it's a standard procedure and they will keep it safe for us. In the end we gave them, and what was commendable was they got it processed quickly and returned it to us within a few hours (instead of overnight). We felt that it would have been more assuring if we knew about this before arriving, and we could have at least done some research about it. Toilet - shower water wasn't as hot in the morning, could be due to many guests using it at the same time. The frosted glass shower window that sees outwards to the next building was also somewhat translucent, so we had to use a towel to cover it up. Loft illusion - we realised the idea of a loft sounded fun but perhaps not as convenient in reality. Having to climb up and down with a steep staircase when you forgot something was kind of a hassle. No fault on the bnb's part though... OVERALL, we enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to folks who like to have a more friendly and relational interaction with...

This place is nicely located near the major sights in District 1, with good food nearby. The team at Christinas, especially Venessa made us feel at home, right from the time we arrived till we left. This is a place where you can feel comfortable and make friends. Definitely highly recommended.

Overall happy about the stay :) clean rooms and comfortable bed. location is good except not on main road inside a small alley but is still ok as it looks safe and just a short walk in. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Love the honest fridge concept! Will book again if back in Vietnam next time!

first visit to hcm. M thankful that I booked my stay here. Very detailed instruction from the moment I touched down, mode of transport to apartment n staff waiting at the entrance. Also, a list of must visit places. Overall, my 3D2N, was really enjoyable. Too short a stay, too many places to visit. Thanks to the recommendation by the host. One of the staff, Phuong was really helpful n very prompt whenever I msg her. Many thumbs up. Will definitely return again.
