Homfortable Loshgyani-An intimate and luxurious experiential stay. Price includes room with breakfast. This beautiful offbeat stay integrates rustic mountain charm and modern vibe with a lot of subtlety. Surrounded with a 360-degree view of dense Oak and Deodar forest, sparsely situated fields, fruit orchards and 180-degree snow-capped Himalayan view on clear sky days, sits Homfortable Loshgyani, a 2 acre estate, majestically on a tabletop near Mukteshwar.

The space
There is a magical and mystical vibe to the estate due to its location and views. We are a family residing in a separate cottage on the same estate. Five villagers who are chefs, housekeepers and caretakers amongst themselves live on the same property and help us with the upkeep of the place.

Our meals, prepared by our expert chefs, are an elaborate affair with Kumaoni, veg and non-veg meals on offer.

Bedrooms -

Aine means Radiance as an Irish name.

Aine is an independent and gorgeous room with an ensuite washroom on the first floor in our main cottage. With its radiant deep blue rustic interiors and luxury setting, it gives phenomenal snow capped Himalayan and dense forest views right from the room. Step out onto its Patio to get views of peaks like Kedarnath, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Panchachuli, Chaukhamba, Hathi Parvath to name a few. The Himalayan range visible from the patio starts at Garhwal Himalayas to Nepal Himalayas - a beautiful 180 degree surreal view along with dense Oak and Deodar forest & lush valley views.

The Estate overall has 3 cottages [ 1 stone cottage, 1 Kumaoni heritage cottage and 1 mudhouse (currently blocked for hosts)]. The stone cottage houses 4 independent rooms with attached washrooms. Each of the room has a sit out and patio to enjoy the views during the day and the starry night seemingly on ground and above in the sky at night. The rooms are large at 300 sq feet. The cottage itself is magestic and its huge white patio pillars give it a colonial vibe which is aptly coupled with traditional Kumaoni feel in its architecture. It is a unique culmination in itself.

The Kumaoni cottage is a heritage cottage, which has been painstakingly restored to its current charm. The entire cottage is painstakingly restored using locally sourced stones and mud by local artisans in a true authentic Kumaoni architecture style.

The cottages are a beautiful integration of modern and traditional in its effort to provide sustainable living. As an example the entire cottage is built using locally sourced stones and mud by local artisans. The structure uses mud instead of cement to bind the stones together and the process is called "mitti chinai" (mud joints).

The Dining

We believe meal times are private and intimate family and friends times and to enhance this experience you shall have access to our large and plush dining and lounge, which is again a traditional stone structure. The meal time experience at Homfortable Loshgyani is designed to give the best fine dining experience to our guests at this secluded and remote location.

Where you’ll be

Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand, India

The atmosphere around here is calm and peaceful while the neighbourhood is very sparsely populated with villages. The ever smiling villagers are friendly and you get a close glimpse into the Kumaoni living through them.

There are number of treking and hiking options around and you can never be spoilt for choices enough.

The laid back atmosphere encourages you to do nothing and simply sit back and enjoy amidst uninterrupted and untouched nature.

Encouraged by the response to Homfortable Loshgyani in just six months time, Homfortable Wildside, an exclusive bed and breakfast was launched recently in Mussoorie Foothills. Homfortable is positioned to sell experiences and aspires to create a network of professionally managed homely, comfortable, hygienic, sustainable, and luxurious stays peppered with sumptuous homely food - ghar jaisa khana".

Navneet is an IIM Ahemdabad, IIT Kanpur, IE Business School - Madrid graduate with experience of working at the Development Bank of Singapore (DBS), Aircraft Acquisition and Financing at Indigo, Indian Oil. I have work history at IBM, Bain & Company, Accenture and Ernst & Young, with the last two being senior global leadership roles. I was also associated with the Lean In Foundation headed by Sheryl Sandberg, COO – FB, which works towards "Building Women" and "Helping women achieve their ambitions". Furthermore, I held a Mentor position at Lean In, India.

After more than a decade long successful career in the corporate sector, we decided to take an entrepreneurial plunge. An extensive year long market assessment and sectorial study and subsequently armed with the right insights around desired product, service from a discerning traveler perspective, Homfortable Loshgyani was launched. In just a little over six months of its launch, Homfortable Loshgyani has won the hearts of its guests with not just its views, room and bed comfort, sumptuous food and aesthetics, but also due to its attention to detail coupled with professionalism and personalised attention through its services.
